    OME lift and 35"s

I just got an OME lift (heavy front/ med. rear). I have the stock alloy wheels with 285 revo's. It just looks to me like I could fit some 35"s with 16" steel wheels with maybe an aftermarket bumper and a little body mount trimming. Has anyone done this or anything similar? Any good 16" steel...

    Buying lift kit tommorow

OME lift After more research I found out pro comp doesn't make a front strut for FJ, and the spacer would be a problem. So I just went with OME heavy front med rear, hopefully that will be somewhat level.

    Buying lift kit tommorow

I'm thinking of buying an OME lift tomorrow. My plan is to do the OME Heavy coils in front and Medium in rear and use pro comp es 9000 shocks and struts. also I'm going to install a toytec 3/4" top plate spacer to level it out. Does this sound like it will work OK with no problems?

Progress testing self-installed Active Traction Control?

I added a switch from radio shack and my A-trac works fine I've gone off road almost every weekend and it definitely works. I've climbed some pretty steep hills with the A-trac kicking in most of the way up. much better than rear locker.

    Awseome Deal on 285 Revo's

Yeah the guy was pretty much an idiot, he also scratched one of my wheels a little bit with the impact wrench. I guess I was just too happy to get a good deal on my trade in to get pissed.

    Awseome Deal on 285 Revo's

Oh yeah, the power loss is very minimal since these are passenger tires, non light truck. A little more road noise than stock but still quiet. I notice a little bit of sway around corners when before it was on rails, but way better off road. I will report back with mpg, I was getting around 18.5...

    Awseome Deal on 285 Revo's

I just got back from the Firestone Complete Auto Care store. I traded in my stock Dueler 265's with 500 miles on them for P285/70R17's Revo's and I only paid $265.53 difference installed for all 5!! They look more burley and clear fine, no rubbing at all. I even tried to stuff them all the way...
