So it happened about six months ago my truck has only done 120,000!!
My cats did survive I haven’t had to replace them yet my truck still passes emissions.
Since changing the sensors i average 16-18 mpg so happy with that! Usual 33 tires, bumper, sliders etc etc.
Your first car was a mazda...
I got the same problem, it will be mega rusty on the inside. Its ‘only’ £1400 for a new upper tailgate from Toyota so decided to go that route rather than fight a losing battle with the rust or risk a second hand replacement.
All cos of the piss poor foam tape that lets water in around top...
So i have a similar problem to op, had my air con charged professionally this morning and now its still not fixed. When i press ac button engine revs up for about 3 seconds then drops off and ac button starts flashing.
So if its my compressor or ac ecu its hyper expensive to fix. Any Ideas...
Well im lucky enough that one of my friends is head mechanic for toyota so i solve all noises through him ha ha.
Ive not asked him about this latest jingle but i noticed today its still there when i apply the brake so thats the pads in the caliper out the window!
Where the parking brake meets...
I think its brake pads
well the last annoying noise i had from rear off truck was the parking brake so that was an easy fix, it just needed tightening up.
As mentioned only thing i can think for front is my pads rattling in callipers
I have the exact noise your describing. Just like coins jangling from front. I have removed the entire front anti roll bar so its not that. I also have new shocks so its not that either. Dam noise is driving me crazy
Jokes aside the 105 landcruiser sold in Australia, Africa and South America was basically a 100 series body on an 80 series chassis. Same engines too only a straight 6 petrol or diesel. Shame it never had a turbo diesel or smooth v8 cos then i would of imported one.
European Cruisers have brake discs, exhaust manifolds, lambda sensors, petrol, a bonnet, a boot, colours and they are put together better. Or so ive heard :)
