you could probably get one in but it would be so illegal, risky and expensive, that youd be better off buying all brand new parts from toyota and just assembling your own.
I have overpants and a waterproof jacket and boots. I never get wet. and between my tankbag and saddlebags, i can bring home 4 bags of groceries as well. what i dont have is scarily small 12 inch wheels, crappy suspension, at a price only a couple hundred less than a real 600. why in the...
and nobody has mentioned the 240sx, possibly the best looking car readily available for 5K.
toss in another 5k with an aftermarket turbo or complete engine swap and youll have a light, comfy, rwd, super handling sleeper.
a few notes...
the non-turbo and 2+2 are crap. the conv is only available as a non-turbo. i could be wrong, but i dont remember an all-wheel-steering version of that car, only the old 240sx. most of the TTs have been beat to hell so finding a good one can be tough unless youre willing to...
never understood the point of a scooter. get a motorcycle, or get a bicycle. scooters are extremely gay unless you live in a 6 foot wide street in milan.
dont fix the brakes. you wont make up the $ for what you put out, even just for parts. besides, its up to the buyer to have an inspection done to tell you that the brakes need replacement. if i was looking, id offer 13.5K
the mileage is probably correct, but remember that japanese roads are not like north american ones. lots of stop and go for tolls on the highways, crawling at 5mph on the city streets, etc. 50K jpn miles is like 150K NA miles in my books. besides, for $15k, you could buy a fully loaded lx450...
take the $75, then call the dmv and report her for no insurance. as someone who lives in a county with 35% uninsured, its people like that that should have their cars seized and licenses revoked.
your butt-o-meter just probably isnt sensitive enough to notice the difference, but youve probably decreased your stopping distance by a foot or two. you wont notice huge gains unless you go to something crazy like 6-pistons with a 14 inch rotor, and even then your gain is ten feet or less.
why go chevy v8 instead of a turbodiesel or a 4.7 toy v8? even with a rebuild, i'm sure the latter would be a cheaper option, especially with the abundance od turbodiesels now in canada.
I know that my cable isnt broken because its still moving in the track and it looks like the passenger side is pulling the whole roof, so it looks like what Tools R Us said. I guess I'll be dropping the headliner and just fixing it so its permanently closed. Thanks everyone.
they should really find out who has been buying all that crap, and lead those sheep of off a cliff. seriously, somebody would have to have sand instead of firing neurons in their brain to believe that anything like that would work.
either that or give me a customer list. i have some magic...
