What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

$150 per wheel. Hard to imagine a mobile refinish since they couldn’t remove the tires and stems. It would probably be more of a touch up. Hopefully cheaper though!

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

From this To this I’ve always liked the later year 100 series OEM wheels but mine were faded, stained and scuffed. Had these powder coated in hyper silver. Really happy with the results, including the black out on the cap logos. If you’re in Atlanta and need wheel refinishing, I’ve got the guy!

SOLD  Atlanta - 4 OEM wheels from ‘05 Land Cruiser

Just pulled these off. Great shape other than some staining and fading. Balance perfectly. Include caps and lugs. $120

    Atlanta area recommendations?

Peter Merriam at Merriam Automotive in Duluth. Small operation but knows so much about our rides. And consistently comes in at a fraction of what the others charge. He had an 80 series covered in ACC stickers in last week when I picked mine up.

New All Weather Mats - Lloyds Mats

I’ve had mine for years in black. They’re great and have caught many spills over the years. My experience with the cleaning has been fine. A good cleaning solution like Simple Green and a brush does the job.

    Pesky Rattle/Clank from Undercarriage

Check to see if your exhaust pipe is rattling against the frame at the bend over the rear axle. For some reason mine started doing that last year. Not sure why it started. But at least I know the issue. And unfortunately, heat resistant felt gasket strips from my Big Green Egg didn’t solve it...

Got another 100. Rear locker. 1 owner. $7,000. Mall crawler.

Actually, one of the best colors IMHO!

From Hundy to 2024 LC 250?

Summed up so well! To me, at least.

From Hundy to 2024 LC 250?

Slightly ironic, to me at least, that the 100 series forum is debating the merits of a cheaper version of the Land Cruiser. I’m making an assumption here that most of us waited and purchased ours with some years and miles on them. Both because we didn’t want to pay for a big dollar luxury...

    4 banger LC, thoughts?

My only complaint with mine is the gas mileage. Problem solved.

Need advice - keep AHC or AHC delete?

Just the fact that owners with AHC have coined the term “pogo sticking” reminds me how happy I am that my 05LC came with primitive suspension! I’m sure I don’t know what I’m missing but I love the ride from my medium duty OME springs and stock shocks. I’m also happy with my ride height...

Looks great. I’m about to powder coat the same wheels. Love the color. How did you handle the lug nuts?

Mine are looking rough but I love the style. I also daily drive my Cruiser. Looking for a set to take my time getting refinished to swap out.

For Sale Upstate SC - 100 series rims and HT tires.

Thanks for getting back. I really like the OEM. I’m trying to find a set I can take my time having refinished and powder coated. I daily drive mine, so I’ll sell my wheels after I swap out.

Where did you find the speaker fabric?! Two tries on eBay and the color wasn’t close

Intermittent ABS, VSC Trac, VSC OFF lights

I have an appointment with my mechanic. I just don’t feel capable enough to sort this out myself. I wish I did. Hopefully it will be something simple. Even if it’s not, I can’t complain. I had my LC for six years now. Plenty of repairs along the way which is to be expected with an 18 year old...

Intermittent ABS, VSC Trac, VSC OFF lights

Where did you get your new ECU? I see remanufactured ones on eBay for around $1,100.

Fix for ABS, VSC TRAC, VSC OFF, & Brake lights remain on no CEL, or how to repair an ECU

Dang, they’re proud of them. Although I’m sure it’s a lot cheaper than going to a mechanic. If I’m going to spend $1,000, I need to make sure this is the correct repair!

Fix for ABS, VSC TRAC, VSC OFF, & Brake lights remain on no CEL, or how to repair an ECU

@FJRyder I don’t suppose you have a spare, repaired ECU unit I could buy from you and then send you mine, do you? My ‘05 has the ABS, VSC Trac, VSC Off lights coming on with no codes. It’s a daily driver so I’d love to find a quick swap out solution.
