I was curious about this one (never had a ‘79-‘83 40) and emailed the guy. It was at least 2 months ago. Yes, he emailed me pics w/out the diamond plate as well. Looks like a good 40, but you’re right…at some point it’s going to need some metal replaced in the back. I’m sure shipping costs right...
I may be selling my 60…if the boat doesn’t sell first. Starting a business and could use some extra cash flow. I tried to PM you earlier, but it didn’t go through…said you’re inbox was at the max. PM me tomorrow and I can get you some pics, info, etc.
If you part it...I’m interested in:
*front seat
*Rear tail light lens
*Door cards
*Trim piece/bezel that goes around ac controls, ash tray, etc.
Thanks
This one was actually a US model that had received a GM 5.3L engine. Had some good upgrades as well. Looked like it was done right, and a fair price...if you are a fan of Chevy/GM engine swaps.
I’m looking for the rear interior bay cards/panels, both sides...in brown. It’s for an ‘84 FJ60. Thought I had found some last week, but it was a Craigslister, and he’s MIA. Any leads would be appreciated.

He probably bought it and is just trying to make us feel better. Really though, I’m curious how much it went for...hopefully, someone who was there and placed a bid, will chime in...
One hundred FB messages later, the ole football referee is still calling it a Jeep. What started out looking like an opportunity for someone to have one of those rare 40 deals we dream about, has now turned into a Barrett-Jackson event. Big thanks to the person who posted the ad on...
I think your box is full. Would love some more pictures...exterior and interior...and maybe some pics of the rust. Also, a few details about the truck would be nice too. Does it start, does it run, does it drive? Thanks.
Nice 40! One of my favorite colors. Looks like my first one I had in college back in the early 90s. I’m a mustard guy now. I saw this one posted, then about a month later it was posted again. I was really surprised no one had picked it up. My current 40 is a CA model and I was tempted to reach...
