Hi,
I just brought it down to the local muffler guy and he welded it for me for $40 bucks and took 30 minutes. No more smell as of now. Ahhhh, 1 down and several little things to go.
Thanks for your help!
Chris
Hi All,
I have a 1997 LC and am trying to find any hints on why we have a strong odor of exhaust in the car. Yes it does have 320,000 miles on it so that can explain some of it.
Can someone identify this leakage and help me understand what it is? Photo attached.
Thanks!
Hi All,
Can you please help me identify the large bolt circled so I can order a gasket /washer for it? Attached the picture to this thread. It's for a 1997 FZJ80 Land Cruiser.
Thanks,
Chris
Hi,
Can someone help me out with identifying what this is and how I can go about fixing this issue? I have put some sealant around it to hold for a bit but it's time to get it fixed correctly.
Thanks,
Chris
Hi All,
A while back there was a guy by the name of Shane that sold seat covers for Cruisers. Anyone know if he's still around and selling seat covers?
Thanks,

Hi All,
My air conditioner on my 97 40th anniversary cruiser is making a grinding noise when it kicks on and I'm thinking it's probably time for a rebuild. Is it possible to rebuild these or do I need to buy a newly rebuilt one? If so where is the best place to get one?
Thanks,
Chris
Hello,

Does everyone use both gasket and rtv? If so, do you put...
Any ideas on where and what type of pump is needed? I'll be pulling water from a creek most of the time while camping. I'm guessing I'll need to know how long of a run from the creek to the shower?
Thanks,
Chris
Another idea is keeping any items on top of the storage box left of the fridge from falling into the fridge slide space after you pull the fridge out. It's one thing that's been driving me crazy. I also end up stuffing stuff behind the fridge and to the right that also can easily fall into the...
Hello,
I'm really enjoying this drawer build. I've been thinking about a build like this but have always stumbled when I'm thinking of making it not very permanent. We have three kids but sometimes we're hauling another around town and have to use at least one back seat so I was trying to come...
I'm really surprised no one mentioned a regular old malita plastic cone with paper filter. I've been using that for a really long time.
For groups I use the bigger style malita holder and filters. I heat up some water put it in my big thermos and get it hot, once it's hot I pour out the water...
Hello, I'm right in the middle of changing out the starter contact points and plunger when I realized I may have the wrong part numbers. Does anyone know what would happen if I have a 28100-66060 starter and use the following part numbers? From what I read they are the wrong parts but install...
