Hey all, I noticed that some fuel is leaking when idling from the front right (facing) part of the engine block. The area it's coming from is underneath nut along a flat bar, where the arm attaches to the throttle. There's a big spring underneath... wondering if the spring wasn't attached...
Good Morning!
Todd's now on a Mon-Fri schedule and my parents are post surgeries, SO I wanted to throw this invite out there:
Saturday Dec 8th is the annual Christmas celebration in Jemez Springs. The Jemez Historical Site will have the structures lit with faralitos and luminarias; there will...
Just an FYI: 376 is closed indefinitely between Porter Landing and Gilman Tunnels, FR 534 and all of Joaquin Mesa and Venado Mesa as a result of the Venado Fire. While they upper portion of 376 was reopened, fire and subsequent rain resulted in flash flooding and rock slides in the lower...
Dad got diagnosed with cancer, mom with heart issues this month so the schedule has been a bit nuts. I was pissed the Dr. goofed up my dad's scheduling at the last minute, but on the upside we got to go ahead with plans for a road trip we'd been planning for months.
I finally got to show my...
Has anyone explored the Angel Peak area? I was running about four hours ahead of my husband on our weekend trip so diverted off of 550, expecting to see a formation on a pile of rubble. Was I mistaken! It's amazing territory. It's BLM with some really nice picnic and a campground around the...

Anyone up for a meet up in Jemez either Memorial weekend or the next? Obviously Memorial weekend could be nuts, but if the...

1hdt turbo diesel. Unfortunately, it's an automatic, but does have manual throttle control.
RHD. :steer: Triple locked. :bounce: :bounce2::bounce:
Factory electric winch, headlamp washers, side panel blinkers that light up the whole lane...
I got shocks on Stella (my new hdj81) and took her around the mountain last night (loving the Fox 2.0s). One section had orange packed mud on the inside embankment, which required some hugging with the wheels. Just noticed that today the orange schmear on her sidewalls is a not-so...
Hi All, If anyone knows of someone selling a project FJ40 in NM or vicinity; please let me know!
I just sold my '67 restomod and am looking for one to restore to original for personal use; I regretted selling my '69 for years... Thanks! Cheryl
The dreaded question... Can you recommend anyone in the area who is a wiz with and not too crazy expensive to fix electrical issues? I changed the directional lights on my 40 to something more "original" and can't get them to work. Nor could my husband. Or my father. The wiring harness map...
