    I have a 67 fj40 and the front drive shaft is not turning even if i put transfer case in low gear and pull out the vacuum switch. If i lock the hubs the drive shaft turns but no fwd.

    My 40 has a ‘74 F engine and my alternator crapped out. My trusted mecanic told me to buy a DENSO. I tried but looks like discontinued. I went to Autozone and ordered one for $80. Is this a mistake? Is there a better one that i can buy for a reasonable price?
