Depo retrofit with Morimoto M-Led 2.0’s and Profile Hi-Lens led high beams.

"But I like the stress. So I cut a huge hole in the reflector bowl.":rofl::rofl: Thanks for the tag. Lotta great points and info! Sub'd!

    Depo Headlight Dimensions

Thanks a ton @ERG80! How do you like the Hi Lens for your brights? I’m not scared of cutting or wiring. More concerned with doing it the right way once. ie not being “that guy” to on coming traffic. Was the hi lens for brights pretty straightforward or was there more cutting again? I’m local to...

    Depo Headlight Dimensions

Sorry to resurrect this one (at least it's not years old!). But @White Sheep do you have a parts list on these headlights? Or are these the DEPO lights with M LED 2.0's and just painted black around the housing? It looks fantastic.

    81610-60110 / 60111 81620-60090 / 60091 ALIVE Once Again ....

Understand, but I don't have any issues with my stock headlight pattern/brightness, and I personally dislike the look of modern projectors on a 30 year old truck. I've installed and/or had OEM projectors on many other vehicles, and understand the upgrade- it's just a personal taste thing for me...

    Aftermarket heater core interest

Did this ever make it to production? Checked the site but didn't see it, and figured I'd ask! Figure I'll be doing both front and rear this winter and just starting to search for replacements. Looking for a '91.

    81610-60110 / 60111 81620-60090 / 60091 ALIVE Once Again ....

I know it's a big ask @ToyotaMatt ... but any chance of reproduction headlights? I have a cracked drivers side OEM glass headlight and have been searching for a replacement and REALLY don't want to go with angel eyes, projectors, or the clear Euro spec lights, but I also don't want to spend...

    Power loss '91 3-FE

Ah. Good to know. My mistake. Does that help the 4.5 guys? Is it the same?

    Power loss '91 3-FE

Also. The 4.5 1FZ from 93-97 is a totally different engine than the 4.0 3FE out of the 91/92. So you might want to search around in that vein before chalking it up to the same scenario as a 3FE. Just my 0.02.

    Power loss '91 3-FE

So, I didn't have the time to open mine at the time but I still have it as I never returned it as a core. If you look at the thread I posted before there's a good picture of the top off. But basically it's a 90* barn door kind of gate that's actuated by the ECM to regulate free air to the...

    Power loss '91 3-FE

Air Flow Meter. I can't speak to the 1FZ and wether or not it has one, but it solved my issue on the 3FE.

    Power loss '91 3-FE

Just figured I'd update this thread for the future 3FE folk that run into this issue. The AFM off of the '93 Camry out of the thread posted above was my fix. Fixed the intermittent issue of cutting out and the weird power loss/stumble/lack of throttle input. Been a couple weeks and it hasn't...

    Power loss '91 3-FE

I don't have the Toyota part in front of me, but here's the thread that led me there! Sorry- in the middle of packing ha. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/1991-maf-interchange.1086795/

    Power loss '91 3-FE

Mini update on the continuing saga... Replaced the ignition coil after it finally arrived and the problem persisted. Checked and rechecked continuity on the igniter and coil. Checked the air gap on the distributor. So quick recap of parts to this point: -Fuel pump -Fuel sock -Fuel filter -New...

    Power loss '91 3-FE

As luck would have it- I had the no start issue again tonight- LUCKILY at a gas station after I filled up and not on the side of the highway/shoulder in the dark. Before I shut down, I could kind of "feel" that the idle wasn't as smooth as it should be and even watched it for a minute before I...

    Power loss '91 3-FE

Okay... update time now that the holiday past and I've got a hot second after work to post. No dice on the sock. It's been discontinued by Mr. T. So I found a *supposed* aftermarket replacement that is still en route. Replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter on Friday and the truck seemed to...

    Power loss '91 3-FE

I do not, sadly. I guess it's probably because every now and then it bogs so close to engine off that the CEL illuminates like jonheld alluded to.

    Power loss '91 3-FE

And I like your thought process, and it sounds very much like where I'm coming from. I'm striking out on the sock though- I'm going to call ACC on Friday and see if they happen to be open/have one. The local dealerships don't have one/can't get one til early next week from out of state...which...

    Power loss '91 3-FE

Thanks for the replies guys, definitely won't be giving up on the truck. I wanted an 80 series for a VERY long time (since I was a teenager) and finally picked one up a few years ago from a member on here. I'm keeping the Great White Buff til the end of my days. It will eventually get a heart...

    Power loss '91 3-FE

Well, I tried to revive the thread below and nobody bit, so maybe a new one will grab a few bites ha. After searching and reading a bunch of threads I found this thread that describes my issue to a T. Weird intermittent power loss ...but nobody ever posted a fix. I'm including the video...
