I still have the pulley and fuel pump before I get to the sniper and now this. How much work are headers? If I pull the manifold will getting it back on be as simple as a new gasket and bolting it on or is there more work?
I soaked it all in PB for a few days but I wasn't so lucky. I think my options are to break the other bolt to get the J pipe off then have the block off plate welded on or pull the manifold and have the bolt extracted. Am I missing something?
1 of the rusty nuts holding the EGR j-pipe broke off and I'm having trouble getting to the other. At this point I don't mind keeping the EGR cooler and j-pipe there as long as they're not in play. Any advice would helpful.
By it doesn't "catch" do you mean it just keeps cranking, and if its not like a cold carb how bad could it really be? And thanks for the adapter @FJ60Cam, I should be getting it this Saturday.
Some places sell the plate without the hole so I assumed the manafre plate came with 2 fitting so you can choose, but when none of them fit I started questioning everything. Thanks for clarifying. One headache gone.
I get that small ones are for the air, and the big round one is for the t-stat. I'm confused about where the elbow goes, and what screws in to the actual plate?

After reading this thread, I've changed my mind, and I'm getting the sniper kit. If my 60 hasn't been desmogged, what do i do with the vacuum hoses? Also, if I buy the master kit and an intake adapter plate is that all I need to get it going, or are things like the peddle required? I just want...
I'm thinking of ordering a kit from AFI for my stock FJ60 and I plan to keep my stock dizzy, but what would I do to all the vacuum lines since it hasn't been desmogged?
Also, if I got a dizzy from a 62 would that allow for ECM control, and would it have to be tweaked?
