It runs!!! Mahalo to all who helped me with this. This really drove me nuts. Took several tries to start. I think the fuel pump and lines needed to prime. What bothers me is that I never did find the actual short. All the wires seemed intact and I had the whole harness apart up...
Opened up the harness and could not find any damage to the wires. I must be missing it, but now when I test pin 14 it shows no continuity to ground. All the jostling of the wires must have undone the short? I can tell that the injector wire heated up, it was lightly stuck to some of the other...
yes bottom left of the four center ones. I checked by the EGR and the harness appears worn and melted by the tube. I don't have enough play in the harness there to get a really good look. Gotta see where I can disconnect the harness on this side to get more play.
Ya I know I definitely need a FSM.
