    Where would u go try next if it were on the mark? I'm gonna see if the kid will actually send me pics of the timing done . It is a lot of crap just to check. And the truck runs fine mostly.

    Thanks for all the help by the way it's greatly appreciated. So I have to check it by removing the injector pump all together.. Or is there an easier way . Can I just check the timing belt cover . Or does the pump have it's own timing marks to line up and that's what I'm checking

    How do I know if I need to retard or advance the timing. Just by the marks. The kid who sold it to me said he had pictures of the marks on where they were supposed to go.but who knows

    I just had the code 12 pop up on my 1991 surf 2lte. But my problem is much different. I'm losing power like someone is applying the e brake when a load is applied or I am going up a hill. Seams like a boost issue to me tho

    This is the plug he said was the coolant temp sensor. But part number came up as a different looking sensor. And by matching it by what it looks like it is the same as the crank sensor

    I'm in Duncan so I can try and get the codes off of it i found a plug not connected that comes off the sensor he told me yo check. But it's got a plastic cover that it's plugged into but not anything else I'll see if I can post a picture

    That kinda sounds like why mine won't run. Green light comes on starts boosting . But if u are heavy on the pedal or going up a hill it falls flat on it's face.
