By the way. Since you might be swapping globes, the front two have different part numbers than the rear two even though they look the same. Since you’re disabling the wife’s vehicle, if you need new OEM globes in a hurry this place has them for what works out to $188 each. Not sure of stock...
Hey wait a minute. Can’t any machine shop turn the bars to a thinner diameter? I’ve got some used non-AHC bars. Is it as simple as shrinking the diameter or is it some fancy metal composition thing??
The parts rig saves it. Whatever may be broken would probably work on the parts rig. Does the parts rig have the shocks with hoses??? They either work or they don’t. They are rams so they don’t have valves that wear out like real shocks. No need to buy new ones. When you are finally done you’ll...
Plenty of people want to look lifted. You said you don’t want a sensor lift. But just messing with the sensors alone I’d agree. However what a proper sensor lift entails is what others are describing. Adjusting sensors to make it sit at the correct height you want, then mess with Tbars and rear...
Are you reading AHC pressures with TechStream? Were you able to get the front back to 6.9? Are re-indexed bars with all that weight/extra height bouncy, slow to recover from a bump, or nose dive upon braking? Sorry for all the questions but your experience is really valuable. Thanks!
That’s our black rig above with OEM 18” wheels and 33s. Not low profile. So the gap between tire and fender is smaller. That’s an LX470 with non lifted AHC. The picture is in normal mode. That’s nice because a canoe goes on top of the tent and at interstate speeds lower center of gravity is...
Did you check your AHC front and rear pressures on TechStream after the non-AHC T bar install? If so what kind of extra weight does your vehicle have if any?
But he’s doing a permanent 2” sensor lift. That’s a lot more stress on the T bars if you keep front pressures at 6.8. That’s possible with stock T bars? Reindex them maybe???
I’m putting an ARB Deluxe with winch on the front of my LX470. It already has a 100lb rack, tent, sliders, and a bunch of gear always in the back. Will stay stock height. Worried AHC t bars won’t be enough. This is why you guys are look into custom T bars. Anyone actually try it yet and have...
What!!! What is this unicorn? Sway away can make custom bars? Basically like King Springs in the rear but T bars??? Are there spring rates lb/in for T bars? Do they know the numbers for AHC t bars vs non AHC LC bars ?? This is incredible. Let me know. Thanks !!
