There are only 30,000 LC 200's sold in the US in the past 10 years, versus nearly 300,000 GX's, so do the math on the new 550. The LC 200 will always be super rare in comparison, which speaks well for continued value and much less depreciation.
Does anyone know what option code the auxiliary tank is, or if it is even available. 18 gallon main tank is not going to get it done for me. Asked my dealer about this who had no information. Hope this can be ordered from the factory. Thanks.
I agree on the fake wood and plastic parts, but a comparison of the LC200 with the new LC250 will reveal that the latter will be finished at a lower level to justify the price differential -- bank on it. Apples versus oranges.
The LC 250 is still not the equivalent of a LC 200 by a long shot. A rod to hold up the hood? No split rear gate? on and on. It tries to compete with the Bronco on a relatively affordable level--no shame in that, but the overbuilt velvet glove luxury of the LC 200 wins out.
The LC 200 should command a premium and IMHO will not fall in value comparable to an LC 250. The LC 200 has many superior engineering features (locking diffs/KDSS, etc.). The interior is a huge upgrade. There is little direct comparison.
