I'm looking for a set Sand Grabba Mats for the back floorboard. (Not the Cargo area) My truck came with fronts and the cargo mat but the rears were missing. I think these came from Spector but it doesnt look like they carry them anymore. Anyone have a set they'd be willing to part with?
Im looking for a good AC control trim panel (I think mine is almost every tab broken on it), a passenger side cargo trim panel (D Pillar interior trim), and a fuse box cover. Its for an 88 FJ62 with Gray interior.
Located in Central Georgia but dont mind paying for shipping.
Thanks!
Thanks,
Just ran this test with my FSM and for step 2. I'm getting 1.5 so that seems way out of range. For step 3. Im not getting a reading at all.
Fuses are fine and I'm still not getting any lights on dash.
About 2 months ago I was having electrical issues and it ended up being a bad alternator (I think) it fixed my charging issues for a while. Until last week I pull into my driveway and lost all power.
The PO cut out the fusible link and also has an aftermarket coil and starter solenoid...
Here's mine. I have no idea what brand it is and I'm not a huge fan of it but it works. If I hit a good size bump in the road it usually falls.
I traded a guy an old mounted duck for it so I can't expect too much!
Thanks that thread definitely helped a lot! I finally got the truck to crank but this relay mod definitely needs to be done to avoid having any of these issues in the future.
Finally got the truck to crank. Somehow I had the battery cables swapped around, I blame it on a long night of drinking. Heres a few photos of the progress over the last two months.
Here is the day I bought it.
This is about a week ago after doing all of the baseline maintenance and a lot of...
Got my OME kit and 33’s installed yesterday. And decided to wire in my rebuilt fusible link but now I can’t get the truck to crank so I’ll be digging into that today.
I’m still working out all of my electrician issues but had the truck running fine until I attempted to put the wiring around the battery back to stock. I had my fusible link rebuilt by Coolerman and In his diagram it shows that the short wire in my hand connects to a small stud that comes from...
Thanks Paul, I finally figured this out and didn’t update the post. I think I need the earlier sensor or either the plug from a later donor.
This code didn’t come on until after I changed the alternator so I’m thinking I need to check all my connections better as I may have broken a wire or...
So last week I replaced my alternator to correct some of my charging issues. Before the alternator swap I didnt have any "Check Engine" lights on and now I have two codes: TPS Code and Water Temp code. I replaced and recalibrated my TPS and attempted to replace my WTS and the OEM sensor I bought...
Yeah I checked all grounds and fuses and everything was fine.
Seems the alternator fixed the charging issue and weak lights. The key alarm and door dome light (dome works in on position but not on door position) do not work so I’m sure that’s another issue some where else.
Just went to Autozone and picked up a Duralast alternator and I’m in the process of swapping it now. If that’s the issue get the Denso rebuilt and put it on the shelf.
Crossing my fingers this is the issue.
I’ve read in the past that the condenser that’s on the alternator is just to reduce...
Just cleaned up all my oxidized terminals and battery posts. Then just cut the sketchy FL out and ran the wires straight to the battery temporarily. Checked the voltage and I'm getting 12.4, raced the engine and the voltage isn't going up at all, staying at 12.4.
Going to check all of this after work today and will report back.
Ill post some pictures and someone may spot a problem that I could be overlooking.
Also, I did check all the fuses and they were good.
Thanks for all the replies.
Replaced the battery and cleaned all the terminals and still having the same issues.
Anyone have any suggestions where else I should look for the problem?
