    Oil Leak behind timing cover

I know that switching oil isn't a substitute for actual repair, but I've had significant luck with Valvoline Full Synthetic MaxLife oil (the new gray bottle). I've stopped oil leaks / oil burning in a number of older vehicles.

    To All Current 80 Owners

I was reading somewhere NOT to lubricate threads in any way. Something about the decrease in friction will cause you to over-torque the nuts beyond their capability. I wanted to lubricate the threads on my lug nuts so they will spin on smoothly, but I was advised against it. Any truth...

    Definitive led thread for 80s

It seems like everyone is using REALLY bright bulbs for this application. I used lower power LED's because I hate the overspill of light coming from the needles. This gives a near factory look, and I think its perfect...

Prospective buyer, down side of going unlocked

That's the best piece of advice! It sounds like you'll be doing family duty as opposed to a 100% trail rig. I do quite fine unlocked :)

Does the type of garage door take away from the maximum height ? I've seen some older one-piece doors that would limit vehicle height.
