$34,900 Charleston, SC
More pics to follow this weekend. Kids are getting older and I'm going to move into a FJ60/62. I've had the FJ40 for 4 years and all work was done by previous owner. Work was completed in Colorado

I looked at this one and it drove well, but it had some body work and painting that did not look like it was performed by a professional. Floor in the interior was repaired and they did a poor job. Dealer is real nice and for $10 or $11k I would have bought it, but not for $14 or $15k.
Thinking about going to check this one out on Saturday. Two owner and all original paint and interior. More than I want to spend, but looks like a nice one and probably decent price if it is all original...
I prefer the manual transmission with the FJ60, but the benefit of having an EFI engine is a huge plus in my opinion. If I'm not going to get a FJ40, I would prefer to have something that fires right up and isn't as irritable on cold mornings (ha ha.

I’m pretty sure the 1,000 mile reference was approximate and miles since the engine rebuild and restoration. Personally, I like the gloss black steering wheel.
I’m not buying this one based on the feedback here, but I do think this dealer is reputable and this 40 is likely done right. They are...
Ugh. This one was restored down in South Florida and I have restoration pics. Is the issue with SA 40’s the fact they are restored in SA and the restoration jobs are crap? Dealer seems reputable and they said they have gotten over 20 restored from this same shop and never an issue.
It’s had a full frame off restoration including engine rebuild. I know these SA trucks are getting a bad rap and understandably so, but I don’t think they are all bad. Perhaps I’m wrong
