Quick question: AHC...I can see the advantage of raising the vehicle, but what advantage is there in lowering it?

I get the concept. What I am saying is that I have never seen any actual evidence that the LX470 automatically lowers any when driving above a certain speed.

Quick question: AHC...I can see the advantage of raising the vehicle, but what advantage is there in lowering it?

I have never seen any evidence that the vehicle actually lowers any at speed to improve mpg and aerodynamics. I have always suspected this was a myth.

    Recommendations on DVD players

You could probably get 6 Amazon Fire tablets for the price of a roof mounted DVD player. They are $49.99 new right now.

    '03 LX 470 AHC issue...but not really?

Is there any preventative maintenance recommended on the AHC height sensors?

Black Plastidip/Auto Dip/Paint work on LX470 Front Grille

Nope. Didn't remove the badges. No need. Check out some of the youtube videos for plastidip. It is actually pretty neat how they separate and peel away around the emblems and badges.

    LX470 HID RETROFIT PROJECTOR BRACKET

Luke, is there much improvement with the D2S over the HID Mini H1? I love the HID setup and your bracket. I'm just curious.

Feeling every crack with my AHC

I am curious if this is even an AHC issue. Are non-AHC vehicles experiencing this issue? Or is it just the LXs?

Feeling every crack with my AHC

I've had a similar complaint for a while. And every once in a while, a thread like this pops up and there is never a real definitive answer. Like you, I have flushed the AHC fluid, checked pressures in TechStream, played with tire pressure, etc. Here is my plan so far: 1) New globes (mine are...

    Interior rattles.

The loudest rattle/noises I have are leather squeaking against leather. Especially between the two back seats. I have cleaned and conditioned them and it still drives me crazy.

Here's a chin-scratcher: Frame around window sticks out from door jamb

I have something similar, but to a lesser degree. The top rear portion of my driver's door sticks out maybe 1/8". Can cause all sorts of whistling wind noise at freeway speeds -especially in harsh winds. If I press outward on the door/window, the wind noise goes away. No obvious signs of...

    Led lights in rear bumper

Could you elaborate on the process? Did you tap into the regular reverse light wiring or the towing harness? Did you have to add any sealant around the new lights or anything else to make them more weather resistant? Was there much cutting on the bumper for these?

Picked up a Clean 07 LC, thundercloud Blue!

It is a great looking truck. I got the VAIS bluetooth thing for my LX and it has been great! Highly recommended. I thought about trying to get a better rear DVD/BluRay thing but found it was a whole lot cheaper to get Amazon FireHD tablets and headphones for each kid.

Is there any advantage to buying a LC with AHC vs buying n LX470?

Black Plastidip/Auto Dip/Paint work on LX470 Front Grille

I am not a big fan of gold or shiny chrome so I plastidipped what I could in Anthracite. I also did the grill. I really love how this turned out. It doubles as a protective barrier for the grille :) I don't have a pic of it, but I went back and did the entire panel that holds the rear...
