I get the concept. What I am saying is that I have never seen any actual evidence that the LX470 automatically lowers any when driving above a certain speed.

Check out some of the youtube videos for plastidip. It is actually pretty neat how they separate and peel away around the emblems and badges.

The loudest rattle/noises I have are leather squeaking against leather. Especially between the two back seats. I have cleaned and conditioned them and it still drives me crazy.
I have something similar, but to a lesser degree. The top rear portion of my driver's door sticks out maybe 1/8". Can cause all sorts of whistling wind noise at freeway speeds -especially in harsh winds. If I press outward on the door/window, the wind noise goes away.

Could you elaborate on the process?
Did you tap into the regular reverse light wiring or the towing harness?
Did you have to add any sealant around the new lights or anything else to make them more weather resistant?
Was there much cutting on the bumper for these?
It is a great looking truck. I got the VAIS bluetooth thing for my LX and it has been great! Highly recommended.
I thought about trying to get a better rear DVD/BluRay thing but found it was a whole lot cheaper to get Amazon FireHD tablets and headphones for each kid.
I am not a big fan of gold or shiny chrome so I plastidipped what I could in Anthracite.
I also did the grill. I really love how this turned out. It doubles as a protective barrier for the grille :)
