1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser, TBI 350 conversion with a mid 90s Chevrolet V8, stock 4spd and transfer case
I bought this truck as a daily driver and used as such for a while but went back to a truck recently. This is a nice cruiser, some normal wear and tear for 31 years...
So, no major updates but I've been getting to know her and dealt with a couple minor issues:
Coolant overflow bottle was cracked and that was my root cause for the tell tell syrup smell of burning coolant. Replaced with a generic unit from the parts store and some fresh tubing.
Used part...
Before and after, I like the simple look of the steel wheels and they are 33x12.5x17 on the ProComp 17x9 wheels with 3.5 inch back spacing. Zero rub with a tired old OME medium lift and no grinding needed for calipers.

Thanks for this post, I started Dave Ramsey in 2008 and have been on again, off again with some stuff he would definitely call a 'stupid tax' paid along the way. My son is about 7 years from college and I'm back to increasing the intensity.
Long story short, much the same as yours, my...
I'm cruiserless at the moment, but I built a rack for my cousin's tundra crewmax camper shell.
I wanted to give back to this thread because I searched through here a lot when planning this one.
Materials, 1/2" emt, 3/4" superstrut, 1.5" superstrut and .5"x1.5" thin wall c channel (If I was...
