I was considering sealing out the box, but then saw the adapters and thought they might be a good short term solution.
Are glass fuses better in your experience?
Has anyone here tried a Converta-Fuse adapter?

I accidentally pulled out my rearview mirror while removing the hardtop. It seems like its just held in by spring clips but I can't seem to get it back in.

Your dimensions say it's 6" high, but how much overall height does it add to your cruiser after its mounted to the gutters? I guess what I'm asking is if it would be able to be left on the roof of your cruiser and clear a standard 7' garage door?

There's something like a capacitor bolted on the head and connected to the coil. It's the little round barrel thing just to the left of the coil. I can't find it on SOR or my Haynes book. Is it a resistor or capacitor? Also, I just installed a Pertronix ignition, do I need to keep this, take it...
Just curious what your "quick tests" were to diagnose vac advance problems? I'm going through a checklist of items to diagnose some cold-start problems I'm having and vacuum advance is next.

Maybe I'm missing a "starting checklist" in the FAQ. I've done a ton of reading and tried to solve the problem on my own, first, but I'm running low on options...
I've double/triple checked that the fuel squirts into the carb. Any more than two pumps and it floods.
The choke works and is almost fully closed to get it to start. I can gradually open it as things warm up.
In general, it runs fine when it's fully warmed up.

Thanks for all the info! It turns out that the 1665a is the Ignitor 1 and 91665a is the Ignitor 2, which explains my confusion with the price. I completely overlooked this.
