Russian 100 Series dodging a pretty gnarly accident. The Camry behind was not so fortunate! https://weather.com/news/weather/video/russian-dashcam-captures-series-of-crashes-on-slick-roads

    Front diff bushing replacement?

Honestly, I may just have gotten lucky. Picked all the part #'s thanks to @Ayune. The forward upper bushing is part # 41653-60020 - that tightened it up and fixed my clunk. I had ordered the forward lower bushing (part # 41651-60010) at the same time and will be returning it.

    Front diff bushing replacement?

Had the R-N-D clunk on mine, 2001 with 126k miles. Observed that it was coming from the forward front diff bushing like most others here. I ordered up replacements for the top and bottom cushion and prepared to get in there with the hammer and chisel like everyone else. When I got the new...

How's your 100 Series Body Lift?

The stock front and rear bumpers can both be modified to sit flush with the body, it just takes some good old fashioned macgyver'ing. I did that when I first did my body lift. The rear was a little more complicated, I recall riveting a 1" bar of aluminum under the bumper cover to maintain the...

Steering wheel a bit off-center going down highway.....cause(s)?

I was able to band-aid my issue with a different alignment setting. Here is my short story: Both of my front tires were previously aligned to factory spec with the wheel pointed straight (equal toe for both front tires). However, my steering wheel would have to be at about 11 o'clock to drive...

@Ayunes Overhead mount for ScanGauge. Excellent.

Very impressive! And with so much attention to detail! Like it could have been designed by Mr. T himself. I hope you can earn some money off of this project, you deserve it. Looking forward to ordering and getting this part in my rig!

Steering wheel a bit off-center going down highway.....cause(s)?

I've got a little bit of right-ward thrust going down the highway as well, so I have to steer a little left to compensate. I'm lifted about 2". Front camber/caster/toe are aligned and within spec. I've replaced tie rod ends, steering rack bushings, upper control arms, and a few other obvious...

The MUD 100 series Videos thread

Found this old timey video and enjoyed it. Favorite line - "It delivers an almost car-like ride!" I have no relation to the channel but figured I'd share.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Replaced starter, fuel filter, PCV valve, and also injector seals. Also took the time to clean out the intake manifold, and head intake port. Was able to remove a lot of gunk! Did a test run after, and I feel like I regained quite a bit of horsepower. I thought it was in my head, so I took the...

The MUD 100 series Photos thread

Mojave Road! 4 people, 4 dogs, 140 miles off road in complete comfort over 3 days. Love this rig. Great scenery but not very technical. My buddy did it with a nearly stock Xterra on street tires. He did have sliders but they never touched!

100 slid on the way back from skiing

You will get a lot of opinions but I think most if not all will agree that what you described is a good learning experience and not something wrong with your vehicle. I have three words of advice. Practice, practice, practice! The more time you spend playing around with different settings and...

    Finally extended my breathers

Sorry I think I misunderstood. ARB has multiple hoses connecting to 1 filter. Not multiple tubes connecting to a single tube. Yeah I would agree with @Ayune. In theory what you said seems fine because it’s a low volume application but there is always the possibility of something going wrong if...

    Finally extended my breathers

Not for me, that is the same way ARB had designed their breather.
