Popping sound from forward and rearward momentum

I had a similar popping sound and i had the LCA bushings replaced along with the anti-sway bar bushings and the lower AHC mounts. The LCA bushings were the prime suspects but the other parts were replaced because I had already bought them. 267k on the rig at the time of the work.

Replacement for just the small sections of leather on the wooden steering wheel

They are something a local auto upholstery shop should be able to do for you. Just a matter of finding the one willing to take such a small job. If not, I've seen YouTube videos where people have done similar sections themselves. I haven't seen any plug and play options on Mud before though.

    YAAQ (Yet Another AHC Question)

It’s a closed system so it is leaking out of the system. If you can’t see it anywhere around the outside of the system it could be going into the accumulator but it would seem like you’d see a lot of bubbles when you changed the fluid. Have you changed the fluid and how many times have you had...

    Need help pinpointing oil leak(s)?

Common leaks are power steering hose clamps, valve cover gaskets(due to loose bolts), and the dipstick tube where it meets the pan.

Please help! Engine dies after shifting from park!

@plmont The repair is a refurbished low mileage unit. When I last spoke to the tech we chose a unit with 64k on it from South Carolina. The cost is $3900 plus tax. That price includes an 18 month and 18k mile part and labor warranty. @2001LC It is a mess in there. I purchased the LX almost four...

Please help! Engine dies after shifting from park!

I got some pictures of the inside of mine. The tech thinks a valve got stuck. Chewed up planetary gear. Below is some metal shavings in the pan.

Please help! Engine dies after shifting from park!

The transmission shop competed the first set of diagnostics where they hook up their computer to talk to the transmission and said it isn’t a computer failure. It responds correctly and still stalls. Now they are removing it from the LX and opening it up for mechanical issues. The techs first...
