I passed. Overall ok but the fact it's overheated a couple of times, the fender work etc.... at this point I don't want to jump into a project and / or immediate head gasket replacement. Tires are shot too so there's added expense there as well.
Apparently the issue with the fender was a missing flare. When they bought it, that one was missing. Sourced a fender that had the flare. Instructions to body shop were "replace/add the flare". Body shop interpreted that as "replace the fender". But it doesn't match anyway so ???

It's in my town so why not look. Anything in particular you'd check based off limited photos? From reading sounds like cooling and head gasket among others. Seller mentioned it started to heat up once over the Sierras but never happened before or since...
As long as there is no check engine light or code the engine throws it's just visual inspection. Depends how well they know the type of vehicle or care to look I suppose.
