Previous owner - Ahmed, spilled some soft drink on A/C panel. I've dissasembled it, cleaned and soldered some switches. Now I've got my rear A/C back and recirculation working properly. I'm happy as a kid that got his favourite toy!!!!!
Hi.
Got a new problem. First I thought that's my lc doesn't have a rear A/C. I lt's a GXR so poor version. Today I figured that I have rear A/C but there's no power in it. Rear climate panel doesn't work.
Maybe it's because i cannot turn the "rear" button on front panel. It's Just not working...
What I did was:
military jerry can | eBay
and found original Swiss or German (Bundeswehr!) military jerry cans sold from army surplus.
I bought 3 cans -one for me and two for my father`s Defender.
Best way to do it :) and cheap - most of them is new and military grade.

I had a lot of cars. Some nice, some just wanted to sell as quick as possible.
For now they are (categorized by fuel consumption growing):
- my wife 8 year old Suzuki Swift 1.3 GLX 93hp (8L/100km)
- LC200 GXR V6 235hp (20-22L/100km)
- Nissan 200SX 537whp (35 and more L/100km)
also wife has a...
5 - Tahara.
No issues at all. 79.000 kms ODO, year 2009. GCC version.
Twice center diff lock was blinking. Engine restart helped, probably some kind of electrical gremlin.
Weathertech cargo mat arrived. Not bad but could have been better. I ordered a third row mat and the holes for third row seats are blanked. Looks like I have to cut them myself... :/
-18 deg. C that day... During summer place is called "Road of truth" because it`s a swamped area. Without winch and second car there`s no way to pass through. During winter - lonely cruiser and 20 minutes :D
No offence about "ricer" thing :D just a lot of "mesh" civics with giant wings around my area, that`s why I`m not a fan.
As for the TEQ badge - thanks, I`ll check it out!
I may be the only person here, but I`m not really a big fan of those mesh grills... They kinda remind me ricer`s cars a little bit.
They aren`t exactly the same kind as those on FJ40.
But I`m a big fan of TEQ badge now! Where did You bought it?
There is no wiring if the bulb hole is blanked. And that`s weird You don`t have rear fog lights... In Europe that`s a must have.
I had to make wiring for it, because in UAE also there`s no need of rear fog light.
During summer - sea coast trip 700km, avg. speed on highway 160 km/h and fuel consumption was 20L/100 km (11,7 mpg).
My record of being a cheapskate is 1270 km on 132 litres of fuel - so that gives us 22 mpg. That was during my business trip, so I wasn`t in a big hurry :D avg. speed was around...
I've seen that info about diesel. Fortunately I was last week in Toyota and asked about new LC. They said only petrol is available in Europe 2017. Maybe They were mistaken...
