Title says it all...
I just clocked my SmittyBilt Gen2 12K winch - but the mounting hardware is designed to connect to the bar that is now at the bottom and back of the winch - and the bar that "SmittyBilt" has it's logo attached to is no longer useful.
I am curious how others do it...

On the front of my frame are 4 threaded bolt holes on each side - 2 above and 2 below - this is where the bumper mounts.
The 2 on the bottom and the 1 on the top closer to the engine bay are the same thread and pitch. However, the top threaded bolt hole away from the bay is larger - Any idea...
I've got the OLD OG Slee front bumper (pre Shortbus) on my 94 80 Series.
Just got a used XRC Gen2 12000 winch.
The instructions call for 10mm bolts and nuts to mount (I bought this used and there was no included hardware). On 1 corner of the winch mounting feet, I'm having a hell of a time...
Putting it out there....
Failed a smog today - OBDI..... 2500 RPMs passes everything great - but at idle the HC measure 218 - max is 100. All other numbers pass at both idle and at 2500.

I bought the truck with 307xxx miles and had not done any real engine work on it other than oil changes, tighten the throttle cable, and had...
Good day....
I am looking at adding a set of brake/park/turn lights on my bumper as the swing outs I'm building would probably interfere with the visibility of them.
Looking for some input from those with experience with this issue :-)
Thanks in advance!
Any experience if Sequoia front seats are a direct drop in for 80 Series front seats?
My gray leather front seat bottoms are honestly pushing daisies at this point....
Can't seem to find the answer.....
Looking for the lug thread and pitch for the 1994 80 Series.

Hey all,
I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a ladder solution that I can hide away when I'm not using it.
I have a Baja Rack full length roof rack.... and I managed to mount a 100 watt solar panel underneath the middle two gutter mounts... totally out of the way and serves it's...
Hey folks,
I'm in the process of building rock sliders for the 94 80 Series....
I'm interested in the FUNCTION of angled versus flat attached sliders.
I've searched Google, and most of what I see is "Man, those look SICK!" That's cool, but.........
My goal is function over form. If I was...
Hi,
I've got trouble code 28 - "No. 2 Oxygen Sensor signal"
I've scoured the FSMs with the help of one of the members here...still can't find exactly what I need to know. I even see a TSB talking about premature connection failure resulting in the MIL lamp lit up... but I hardly think this is...
Hi, I'm building a set of sliders for the 94 FZJ80 and I'm curious if anyone knows the bolt pattern for the threaded holes in the frame behind the cats.
I know White Knuckle utilizes these for cat protection and I'd love to use this location too - not just for the cats but also for adding...
Hey folks,
I'm in the middle of building a set of sliders for my 80 Series.
I'm using 1/4" 2"x2" for the main rails.
I'm curious on how far below the rocker panel should I mount them. I know there needs to be room for them to flex in the event of a hard drop, but I'm not sure just how far...
I'm starting the PHH bypass process but I can't seem to figure out where the bottom bolt is for the tube. I don't want to mess up the AC line that's close by, so I would rather not tear it off if I can unbolt it. Anybody have an idea of exactly where it is, how far up the tube it is?
Thank you
