Replace all 4. 100%. With your LC being a '93 the stock shocks are almost definitely shot.
About the winch...NO. Bad things will happen. If you insist on using a winch to pull out shrubs, please film it.
I have play in my steering wheel as well. 1997 LX450. I have replaced the steering pump and the steering box (not because of play), and I have the same amount of play as before.
Also, if they quoted you $4200 you need to tell them to go fxxx themselves, and find a mechanic who isn't a crook...
If you are going for looks get the Slee. If you want protection from limbs and animal strikes get the ARB.
BTW, the Slee is stout, and well made, but little help against a deer.
This is what I have in my 1997 LX450, and I had zero problems.

You can also check Crutchfield, and their website will list everything which will fit your vehicle.
When my stock radiator started leaking I replaced it with this one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C7TTTY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's been a year, and no problems. I know a year isn't long for a radiator, but that is all I can attest to.
I was getting a catalytic converter CEL code on my 1997 LX450. I did some online shopping and decided to go with the Magnaflow 99006HM universal ones. Since Magnaflow stated this was for front or back, I ordered two to go inline.
I got a call from my muffler guy telling me that there was not...
I tried using my hazard button to operate the CDL. It would lock the CDL, but would not unlock it. I might have a faulty hazard button. I ended up buying an OEM CDL button and it works great.
Just an FYI.
I have a '97 LX450, and I would not install any radiator that did not have the exact coolant flow as the OEM. If that radiator does not feed the aux cooling systems then it would be a hard pass.
I recently had the top of my 1997 radiator separate on a road trip. It kept me from enjoying Moab like I wanted. I would get it replaced. Especially if it is discolored. I went with OEM, but if you have the money, the aluminum replacement is nice.
My wife: The Pig rides too rough. It's not comfortable.
Me: Awesome, I'll buy a rear bumper, skid plates, and rock sliders to soften up the ride.
That sounds like a plan! :) Think she'll go for it?
P.S. I am not being sarcastic. I really like that plan.
The truck is first and foremost a daily driver. I bought the springs based on Slee's customer service. They recommended the weights. I am thinking about looking into better shocks to see if I can soften up the ride. I was expecting the ride to be too soft after adding the lift and tires.
ARB Front Bumper with 9.5K Smittybilt winch
Dual batteries.
Stock rims with 285/75 R16 Kenda Klever MT at 35 PSI
3rd row removed
75lb tool bag in back.
OME 2.5" lift from Slee with Heavy front and Medium rear springs
As a daily driver that's about it. I am about 190lbs.
