Thanks so much for the feedback!!
Engine was a full rebuild at a Toyota dealer
I had a noise in it that was a partial spun bearing
Thankfully there was no damage and it was able to be polished out.
The rig has been dealer serviced its entire life with the same service writer (a friend of...
Been sitting on this a while and I’m not in a hurry to sell. But I’d love to get some feedback from y’all about what you think it’s worth before posting elsewhere.
Additional thoughts / notes
its filthy and needs a good wash... but carpet cleaning in winter is not ideal...
hard to see paint fade / peel in the rain, but its got a bit.
sorry for the fat hand in that last group of pictures
please excuse the christmas decoration bins in the garage

Mechanical history
I bought it Modesto in 2016 from the original owner at about 395,000 miles and had the engine rebuilt by a local shop. I lived in Oregon at the time and...
Want to list mine as a cheap alternative to yours :D
All kidding aside... beautiful rig. I hope the next owner on my 80 will do something like this with it.
Still working like a charm. Bout a 100 series last week and just installed the same TMPS system in it. Getting the wheel sensors installed next week with new tires.
I’d highly recommend this system.
It is a bit loud. I have the rear of my cruiser well insulated and it is still a tad bit noisy. The flip side is that it changed the sound from being a postal service jeep to a real truck. So I kinda like that.
If you like the idea of it sounding like it’s got some stones, I’d say send it.
If...
For sure!
I can’t imagine any retailer would give you a hard time about a mount and balance to install these. But it would probably cost a few bucks to get it done though.
They do have an external sensor that is basically a valve stem cap. If I wasn’t doing tires I would have gone with that style.
There is another system I considered before I decided to buy new tires that is iPhone app based with valve stem cap sensors:
LEEPEE Bluetooth 5.0 Tire Pressure...
It’s wireless to the sensors. Not sure if it uses the normal 315mhz or some proprietary frequency. Switched 12v power to the receiver. I installed the receiver / display module in about an hour after work
Bought the tires from tire rack and had them mounted and balanced at the dealer. They said...
In the Amazon questions section they said this can handle up to six sensors. It all came pre configured. But looking at the process for tire rotation in the manual leads me to believe you select the position and then toggle through the sensor numbers until you get to the wheel that is in this...
I’ve had one tire that has lost about 5 psi a week for the past five years. That tire has worn about 40% more than the other three in that time.
I just bought a new set of tires and really wanted to be sure they all rear evenly. So I did some digging for an aftermarket TPMS system. I came...
I had to replace the cat to pass smog inspection. I’ve been wanting to open the exhaust and get a little more sound anyway. So this was the push to do the whole thing. I’d be surprised if there was noticeable HP gain though.
I know this is an old post, but I wanted to thank you for putting it up here.
The parts list gave me a perfect starting point to get this pig smog legal and titled in the Democratic Republic of California.
The previous owner pulled the rear cat out and had a straight pipe put in. I went to go...
Sorry bout that
I have the 80 tech section bookmarked so I auto-piloted the section.
I do not see a specific place to list things for sale however, so I am not sure where to move this.
Ultimately it is not my rig or my ad.... just something I thought mushers might be interested in
