I am looking at two LX's 2018 and 2016, both have similar miles with the newer model being $10K more expensive. Is there any difference in features between those years? For example, one on site I was reading that the 2018 came with driver thigh extension. Does anyone know the difference if any...
Had these these on my 2016 LC for a year and wife wanted them removed when I gave her the LC to drive daily :)
Asking price for the seat covers: $450 (Front Row with arm wrest cover, Middle Row with armrest cover, Rear Seats. Includes covers for headrests)

Bought these while back and never had the time to put them on my 2016 LC. Asking price $1,250. Prefer to sell them as a set. PM me if you are interested.
Selling my BP-51 lift kit and Budbuilt Sliders I had installed on my new 200. They have roughly 10K highway miles on them and was only off-roaded once (sad). The 200 will be daily driven by the wife and now I have to look for another ride. The parts are in clean condition and no damage, leaks...
Interesting read. The Jeep Rubicon is gaining up on LC, Land Rover and Mercedes G Wagon and easily winning over by price, power to weight ratio, off-roading capabilities, fuel economy etc...
I have an opportunity to consider a 84 FJ60 and swap guts with FJ80. IMO nothing beats the classic look of an FJ60/62 in the land of LC. It is the iconic look for this legendary wagon,.
Are there any benefits if I start with FJ60 vs FJ62 body if I want to go the full 140/142 conversion?
Came across this and I think it looks bad ass overland vehicle. Expect to pay a premium for this. I am talking Mercedes G wagon price. Then again, you could do that with a Tundra just like Expedition Overland team and I think you would probably be under $80K
Patriot Campers Supertourer LC200...
This question may have been asked before but thought after 2018 Overland Expo, it is probably worth revisiting the pros/cons.
Been looking at these hard shell roof top tents made by SkyCamp and James Baroud and they are very similar in size, weight and ergonomic design. I am looking for Mudders...
I am thinking about setting aside 5-7 days at some point in the near future to tackle WABDR or similar track in the Northwest to try backcountry driving/camping and would be very grateful if mud members can share their experience and gotchas in overlanding backcountry tracks. Aside from food...
Just got my “PolarBear” back from TorFab after hibernation with roughly 3” lift with the upper control arms and BP-51 and Budbuilt beefy .120 DOM and 3/8” thick steel rock sliders that is powder coated and aluminum armor plating stage 4 (front, engine, and transfer case).
Next, rock warriors...
Don't want to put a roof tent on top of my new LC as it's my daily driver not to mention I have Budbuilt stage 4 skids and beefy sliders on the way so it will add few hundred pounds at the least.
I am considering the FSR Overlander trailer and 5-6 persons Large High Country tent to go on the...

Just got my hands on RW set that came with 37s that I couldn't pass it on but I am not that crazy yet to install them without a lift. In the next few months I plan to switch to BP-51 with KDSS relo from Slee but until then I am thinking of putting Toyo's 285/17/75 on stock height on these...
Been looking at Budbuilt products and they have a full length under carriage armor package (4 plates) including a plate protecting the fuel tank.

planning to add 3" lift and I am looking for long travel suspension and smooth ride like my 200 on my recently purchased 80 and came across these Icon stage 4 kit and wondering if 80 owners had tried these and how's the ride overall on and off road? is it worth the money?

On some non-US 80s they came with the compass and clinometer gauges as shown in the image. Anyone knows where I can buy this part? otherwise, I will build my own with arduino board and LCD to fit out somewhere there.
I followed same procedure as mentioned in this thread but the CEL still on. Is there anything else I need to do like may be driving it for a while or additional steps like re-connecting the ECU fuse? or could it be a something else?
Calling on the wisdom of fj80 owners, aside from Slee's buying guide, is there anything specific I should know about for 94 models or inspect before buying this truck? I will be test driving the truck this week.
Truck specs:

- no lockers
