another sm420 question
I'm looking at two sm420's in a local wrecking yard. One is from a 1 ton, the other from a 2 or 2.5 ton. Anyway, I looked at Pinhead's writeup and a couple others, but I see the two sm420's I'm looking at have a different casting by the reverse gear bulge. These ones have two horizontal ribs...- plan66

Shock mounts
Hey guys, I'm thinking of running rear 60series springs. This moves the axle centerline back about 1.5-2". If I keep my lower mounts stock, I will have to move the crossmember or?? I want to run longer shocks so I will have to move the pins inboard anyhow. What did you guys do when running...- plan66
