Yes loose battery with corrosion is always a problem. Make sure your battery terminal is spotless.
That should be the first thing you check actually. And use either silicon grease aka dielectric grease and cover the terminals. Or use the red waxy stuff. Both work the same to ensure your...
hmm I would start with 2 things. One - Is the immobilizer light going off before you are trying to crank it? I dont know where it is as you have a post 2002 LX. But look and make sure that light is off before you crank. If is doesn't go off then it can be your immobilizer and key are not in sync...

Here's a start..https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=diy+brake+line+bending+
A lot of things on you love become marathon's and not a sprint.. cause the list of part broken and upgrades keep on going up. But the only reason keep on fixing it is b/c you love the daam thing..lol

I'd check your oil in the T-case just to ensure your oil level is good. In this case you would open the Fill hole which should be in the side. And check to see if the oil is slowly...

I guess this depends on how you use the cables. Most people dont wait to charge the battery and then jump start the car. They usually just put the cables on.. give the donor car a raise and jump start the car.. in that case having bigger cables does help.
but @badlander your right.. going...
I'd actually start by cleaning those battery terminals first and retighten your terminal. You'd be surprised how good the battery acts with some good care of the terminals.
To be extra nice to them apply battery terminal protector or just dielectric grease on them. To keep them from being...
To answer some of OP questions. For a V8 typically the starter is looking for 200 to 400 amps of draw to start. That's a big variable because all depend on the condition of your engine, condition of your starter wires, starter contacts, and temperature your trying to start your car in. In...

Btw I own a Tundra 5.7l. It's a great engine as well. Nothing to bad if you do the work yourself. Nothing is perfect. Which is why we get Toyota's. In that sense you can say we get Toyota's...

I tried looking you the components...
