What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Had this issue with a different vehicle. It turned to be a failing connection to the main fuse. Cleaned it up, replaced fuse (and ground cable for no good reason), good to go.

Does 2007 lx470. Require VGRS Steering gear?

The factory calls for the VGRS. That's the only difference. Installation should be the same. Don't know if it will throw any codes. The LX has a VGRS warning light.

A hello from me and a busted 100

Wonder if it had a timing belt failure? Probably worth fixing up if it's only for the cost of the motor and labor.

    DT Header O2 extension needed?

No extensions required. Per the manual, you need only undo the first clip per side.

ABQ Area recommendation for a mechanic.

Thanks, I saw that list. I do most work, but don't want to tackle the exhaust manifolds and leave the DD out while I did. Was also hoping for some subjective feedback on local mechanics.

ABQ Area recommendation for a mechanic.

Hello! I have a 100 series LX that needs the exhaust manifolds replaced. I purchased some DT headers and need them installed. Can any of you locals recommend a shop? I have an estimate from Toyomasters, but would like to get additional recommendations and quotes. Thanks in advance!

    DT header install question

Camelback Toyota has the OEM Gaskets, studs and nuts. The consensus is to avoid the gasket they send you. I won't pay that kind of money to install them on my LX. So I gotta get the knuckles bloody.

    DT header install question

Just ordered the DT 561-SS set. Did anyone have issues with the downpipe bolts?

all-terrain or mud-terrain that dont ruin the ride

Late to the replies...now on my 5th set of BFG's and 3rd vehicle. The K02's are quiet, smooth riding tires. Excellent wet performance, great on dry pavement and excellent short of anything really muddy. They won't clear thick mud fast enough if you're looking to go muddin'...I use the hell out...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

has anyone ever used the floor liners? I usually use the mats. The liners were kind of "slippery" compared to the mats.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Okay, thanks. Will add these to the list when the AHC fails and I do a proper lift.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Does the vehicle need to be lifted for these to work? I have worn links and considering this if I get more travel with them. Thanks!

    Is this a good deal

You can check out the factory service history by registering at the toyota owners site and adding the VIN. Also, if you have an ebay account you can "sell" the vehicle at no cost to view the equivalent of a Carfax. That price seems a bit high. But I am in NM too...
