Yes, as far as I recall that sensor feeds to the EDIC on my truck, but on the H it could be different, others will know better than I :)
Interested in this exact topic actually. Had some starting problems (now solved) that I feared might have been relay related. I'm sure I'm missing...
I just busted these in Mojave a couple weekends ago on my 1982. I am fairly sure the replacements were M12x24 and that a 2" fits with a washer/lock washer in use.
Thanks all.
Aaron - I'm probably going to want that thing. I'll shoot you a PM very soon. (btw, how awesome is that, one of thousands of reasons to love this board)
I almost like the look, and it's definitely unique out here. OTOH the fender is starting to tear, and I'm probably going to go...
Hi mud, long time no see!
I'll try to avoid the super long story, but some recent work on my truck became a case of "the woman who swallowed the fly," and I'm looking to re-route my air intake. As a bonus, I want to remove that donaldson canister sitting on my pass fender as well.
I've looked...
Hey Mudders,
Long time no chat. Trying to replace the front rotors on my '82 BJ-42, and, predictably, I'm fighting the rust monster in the worst way.
I'm down to separating the rotors from the hub, but the lug bolts pass through the back of the disk and they are going ... nowhere. The two...
Just in case it will help anyone in the future, SOR apparently has them more often than their website would suggest. Installing the rebuilt one from them pretty soon. Spendy, but the simplest solution.
Funny that you should dig up this thread. After replacing a torn IP diaphragm, this cut-off/relay sputter has popped up a few times. Not consistently, but it has done this a few times in the last couple of months.
Really only a matter of time before we start seeing lots of this. I was talking to a guy several years ago who wanted to do custom hybrid kits for the muscle car/vintage US car market.
Not sure how 10-15hp motors would perform for starting up an LC, but the sound difference alone between...
Seems to have some tech write ups and parts reference. No diagram section. Same page if I go through an anonymizer (which would mask geography IIRC). All the "tech write ups" appear to be external links. Many of them point back here, lol.
By the way, massive thanks for that habit of yours to edit revisions into your posts - very handy. Though I'll admit it just helps me skip past the dead ends by looking for the orange print.
Anyway, bumping this thread because I recalled seeing it a while back and needed to find the...
Yeah, the Creuset would have been just for home. We have a grill pan by them that is the s***.
I got her a Lodge for xMas, it will see lots of use at home and camping. Reflector oven, why did I forget about those? Next on the list. Thanks!
Re: The Calzones. Epic. I used to love making...
Market down the hill from my place has a full butcher counter. The guy gave me a pensive look about the shoulder until I told him I wanted it bone-in. Then he was more than happy to saw one off for me while I waited.
Hmm. Honey eh? I'll have to remember that for the future; I haven't...
This, by the way, was delicious. Borrowed it for xMas-eve dinner. No access to Kirkland seasoning but I mixed my own and added mesquite to the grilling. Came out nice even though I think my marinade was too watery.
Ya, hosted a NYE party a couple years ago where it was "make your own sushi." Awesome party, but the aftermath was epic. For some folks raw fish + large amounts of alcohol is a bad combination apparently. And the rice gluten basically coated the kitchen floor.
Aside from that, it's no big...
It's as complex as finding the pieces for the top, the seals, and installing them.
Unless the truck you are looking at is some weird custom thing, you should be fine.
I remember seeing a magazine ad for Porsche years ago. The photo depicted someone finding a 356 in a barn and getting it from someone who "didn't know what they had." One of those ads that was more for the brand than a specific product. Haunted my dreams for years, especially as a teenager...
