A few people have asked about being able to drive this think home and home is like 500 to 1000 miles away. I'm all for a great road trip but I hate to give that kind of advice. I think the running gear on this rig is solid. The tires would be my biggest concern. The truck has been sitting for...
Sorry for the slow response guys.
No the title has not been converted to diesel. Will work on getting pics out as fast as possible.
The motor came straight out of the box van off dove bid into the landcruiser. Motor has run great the whole time. Conversion probably has 500 to 700 miles on...

Yeah I was really stuck on the PVC saddle idea. After I thought about this method I cant see why I would even consider the saddle method. A tee or Y-tee and a rubber boot will get me going.
Here is the saddle I was talking about;

I have an existing 4" PVC drain line running through my yard for overflow from the pool and concrete patio. I want to tie into it to drain a planter and gutter downspout that flood nearly on whole side of my house. I dont want to use a standard glue on tee (4 inch is not as flexxy as 1" so it...
The parts are all used from a wrecked 60. I had the under dash parts so I installed the under hood parts. I have the compressor mounted and all the lines will be hooked up tonight. I may have to take it to an AC shop since HF did not have the vacuum pump i needed.
So I have everything in place (for the most part). Now I need to pull vacuum and add refrigerant. Do i need to add extra oil to the pump. This will be a R134 conversion. Is there a good write up on this?
I have no idea if they are aftermarket or factory. I would assume they are factory but the PO mangled stuff pretty good. I have a local guy getting me the part from his parts rig so i am covered. I was hoping to get it earlier (hence the question of where to buy new) to be sure I am ready for a...
Its an 83 and I have no idea if it was ever converted. I bought the truck with a chevy 305 in it and no AC parts. The only thing there was the under dash unit with only one hose through the fire wall. The other hose (which is the pressure switch) was cut off. I bought all the AC parts from a...
I want to wire in 4 more gauges (pyro, boost, mech oil and mech water) to light when I flip on the other ones. Is this too much current draw for the original circuit? I cant remember what the fuse is good for in the gauge light circuit. The easiest would be to tap the circuit once and run one...
Where can I get a new one? Is it a dealer only part? The PO cut off the fitting at the firewall... All the box stores (napa, autozone, etc..) don't seem to have it.
Thanks
Chris
Just noticed I have not added my location to my member profile. I am in Albuquerque, NM. Trying to add AC before my 650 mile road trip in late June. Looks like I need the condenser, resevoir, lines, valves, etc. Like I thought pretty much everything in the engine compartment. I assume not all...
