I took my ’85 fj60 to a tire/brake shop today to have a flat checked to see if it could be repaired. I handed them my keys for them to drive it around never guessing they’d force my ‘86 Camry key that was on the same ring into the ignition, turn it with pliers and burn out my starter. When they...
An exceptionally late follow-on thanks to a google search.
Did you end up finding anywhere in Boise to have the work done? I'm out in Idaho Falls and mine is getting some nasty looking long rusty streaks on the doors that I don't know how to fix. I don't know if I should keep trying various...
Land Cruiser FJ60
This isn't mine but I thought it was sweet and should be shared. This guy is trying to track down his wife's first car (1987 FJ60) for their 10th anniversary. It's a long shot (which he mentions) but if any group of people could track down a long lost land cruiser it'd be...

Maybe it's just my untrained eye but I have a hard time seeing this as a 25k vehicle.
That said the work could be fantastic and the solutions ingenious making it worth every penny. Definitely an interesting concept, just not for me.
Not mine, just saw the ad and figured someone would enjoy reading through it.

Also - as someone who has done research but is new to the prospective buying phase I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts on this one.
And if this question needs to be moved elsewhere on the forum just let me know! I'm an all around noob...
