Hey Mud this was my wifes GX. I upgraded the front grill and badges to the latest year. Just put on new BFG All Terrain KO2s with Standard suspension for this sale. Also just did the smog, an oil change and a full tank of gas with pink slip in hand and ready to sell.
PRICE: $25K, cash...
Sold to a Canadian buyer staying in the bay area, I held out for asking price and it came down to a couple of people trying to fly down to me to hand me the cash!
Honestly, I've been trying hard to take my ebike more and more and I've settled into a routine of gym, coffee, grabbing lunch, type trips on my ebike.
Also if you want a recommendation, to me the "80 series" version of an ebike is the Ariel Rider D Class or Grizzly. They are all wheel drive...
UPDATE FEB 11th: My LX is still for sale, I've been holding out for top price since it went live after BAT, and seems like everyone who wants it is out of state so for those reasons its taking a little longer to sell. Everyone who has contacted me so far thanks for your understanding and kind...
I second this. My black 80 in my profile pic notoriously would move the needle heading up the grapevine and it would freak me out. I started trying every trick I researched on this forum. At the end of the day, I replaced the radiator and I haven't had an issue since.
I used to pull over after...
hey hey hey, don't rub it in, you did waaay better than I did hahaha! I was selling this expecting at least over 30...
1997 Lexus LX450 - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1997-lexus-lx450-42/
Oh well was worth a shot at big bucks. I have a very good excuse to keep it now, there is not another vehicle on the planet I’d rather have that’s $23k (the high bid on BAT)
Sure here you go. I really like it since it looks super low profile and stock-ish. This GX is my wife's mom-mobile so it doesn't need anything robust, it moves and is adjustable somewhat and it works with her pop socket she has on her phone.
that's the phone mount in case anyone cares
In this market in my area, it would be prob. sold the day it was listed at that price. It is more than they used to be but amortized over the life of the vehicle it really isn't that much at all.
I used the blank for the adjustable suspension button. This was not exactly a super easy job but worth it for my tastes. I reinforced the little plastic blank with some jb weld and it's been on the car for almost two years now, never had an issue.
There is a link at the bottom of the photos before the youtube video with more photos (inc. 3rd row). No accidents or damage on the carfax.
As for BAT I paid the $99 listing fee but they are pretty backed up. BAT asked me to take down any existing online ads, but seeing as BAT auctions end up...
First off, I love this truck, it is my pride and joy. We are trying to get our finances in order to purchase a house and so I'm pulling the "for sale" sign out again. This will be the third 80 series I've owned and I'm under no illusions that I will ever find another one this clean or be able to...
Had the new driver's seat bottom leather installed from mosleymotors.com on Saturday! The front panel had a larger cut from a knife accident by the previous owner that was poorly repaired. The new leather looks amazing.
The update is the shop owner called me the next day to clear things up, and apologize for the confusing inspection report from the kid who called the night before. It was only the cover leaking and the young kid who gave me a call was miss reading the notes I guess. They had not ripped anything...
Thanks for the input everybody, seemed very odd to me, and glad to get some backup from the board.
So the oil pump/chain cover bolts onto the block, where it mates with the block is there a gasket or something? there must be a seam there so can it leak is the question I guess
