Well as the thread title says my 1HD-T has snapped the crank at #2 journal and upon speaking to the Diesel Engine specialist who will be building me a replacement engine it's not the first one that he has come across and very rare obviously.
Damaged caused is extreme: snapped crank, cracked...
Hi all first post here. OK I've tried searching this forum and google in general but finding it hard to get a definitive answer, what i'm trying to find out is it safe to run more boost past the point that the air filter restriction light comes on?
The reason i ask is mine comes on at 21-22psi...
