Hi All, from a 91 HDJ81:
-Crossover pipe $100
-Kinugawa CT26 wastegate (1HDT, FTE, 13BT, 12HT) 1 bar adjustable, Part number 309-02059-004 $80
-Stock CT26 200k kms, some cracking near wastegate opening in the exhaust housing. Could use for parts? Still worked. Also have a Chinese CT26 in good...

Really looking for an hdj81/hdj80, rhd 1hdt (1hz may work?) accelerator cable. Not the trans kick down cable. I ordered one from Japan only for them to cancel since it's out of production. Mines about to fail.
Howdy y'all, I'm having a problem in which when in 4low and L, it acts like it's actually in 2. It may start in 1st from a stop but it won't stay in 1st - making steep inclines and declines a bit difficult.
Everything else with the trans is great and fresh fluid at the correct level. Should I...

-HDJ81 oem denso starter (24v) with 240k kms - worked great. did 12v conversion. $80
-HDJ81 24v/12v solenoid if anyone wants a spare, working condition - $20
-K295 option rear LSD guts - should be everything to convert an 80 diff into LSD including clutch...
Edit: 12v conversion info on page 2
Howdy, I searched but I feel my situation is a bit different given my dash lights.
Yesterday my cluster lights (a/t temp, radiator warning, t.belt, both turbo lights, and red alternator light in the right corner) starting flickering. I suspected a loose...
I have the guts from my k295 rear LSD diff, everything is actually in great shape. I swapped it out for a Lokka, which requires removal of all LSD parts including plates, springs, gears, and clutch discs - so that's what I'm selling. Whether or not it drops in to an open k292 diff I'm unsure...
Hi all,
I'm having my rear LSD replaced with a Lokka unit (TOY-RL-928 = specific to LSD carrier) and installer is having some issues: The LOKKA doesn't fit into the tolerances in their instruction sheets when we try to assemble. Appears either modification to existing shims or sourcing...
Howdy, after a trip ive noticed I have bearing grease leaking on one rear hub. It's definitely bearing greasel and not oil, looks fresh too. All other similar threads are in regards to oil leaking, so an inner seal. I'm thinking my inner seal is fine and it's just a simple hub seal, but I'd just...
Curious if there is any insight on my situation: my 1HDT runs great, no smoke issues with one exception: when I'm engine braking down declines for extended periods and my boost gauge starts to show vacuum - whenever I add throttle during or after i get excessive amounts of blue and white smoke...
Craigslist ad with pics and more details: 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ80
Really clean and reliable. Would knock the price down for an enthusiast but asking $6k (hard to gauge the 3FE powered market as there are a lot of turds out there)
Howdy y'all. Recently got a 1991 HDJ81 and the spare on the rear swing out has this locking lug nut that appears to accept the stock key. Anyone know how exactly it's supposed to function or tips on removing it before I bust out power tools? Inserting either key does nothing and won't turn. Cheers
Howdy ya'll,
I do a lot of camping with my 80 and sleep inside. I love snow camping but the cabin is horrible at retaining heat. I have a butane heater but once it's off it gets cold quickly. Does anyone have any tips on modifications I can do/parts to look into replacing to help contain some...
Howdy,
Broke my exhaust bracket clean in half - having trouble tracking down a part number. Can anyone identify it? I've found an OK list here: 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser Exhaust Pipe - ToyotaPartsDeal.com but can't really identify. I'd prefer to buy a new/used bracket instead of welding - it was...
I was wondering if 2 load bars (Yakima round bars on 1A gutter mounts) would be enough for a basic RTT, such as the Tepui Ayer which is 95 lbs and a closed footprint of 42" x 48". Most RTT setups on load bars I see on LC's are using 3 or 4 bars - anyone with just 2?
