You don't need a dual to get it sounding good (loud). Headers and a full catback is enough to let everyone know you're in the area and generally annoy your neighbors.
As others have said, go with lighter torsion bars and more droop, and I would also add extended bump stops (I believe I use the Wheelers Offroad ones for the Tundra).
I'd have to look at mine, but it seems like your tie rods are also at a more extreme angle than mine, maybe it's just the...
I am thinking about these 5160s, and rather than open a new thread, I thought I'd ask here, for those who are running them on heavier than stock vehicles, do you still feel that they are a good value or are there better shocks out there?
For reference, I have front and rear bumpers, skids...
Pizza cutters, or tall skinnies would probably rub less and have few fitment problems, if, for no other reason than most are only about 33". They can be a good option, depending on the terrain you mostly drive on off road. For me, I prefer slightly more width and option to lower pressure and get...
I didn't understand this either when I ordered for my 05 LC. The only thing I can imagine is that it was the date of manufacture not the model year. I kind of think they may have just messed up. All that matters is that it's a non-vvti without the air injection etc. I ordered an 04 and felt good...
I have a 43 quart fridge on a set of Land Shark drawers on a DFG tilting slide. My 100 has around a 3" lift. Even though I'm under 6', I don't have much trouble reaching in, but sometimes have to climb up to look in.
I do find it really interesting that there is more weight gain between the early and late 100s than between the late 100s and the early 200s. You're right that at some point the weight gains matter, but I think it's more of a personal preference. I have probably 1,000 extra pounds in/on my truck...
Well they gained something like 3/4 of a percent in total weight, probably not the end or the world, and you could reduce that by half if you took out the 3rd row probably. The 200s are really only a couple hundred pounds more than the post update 100s. Again they look and feel bigger though.
As far as I know, although the 200 somehow looks bigger and more ponderous, it's really only an inch or so wider and a couple inches longer than the 100. Definitely a couple inches narrower than a Sequoia etc
440-800# springs are your issue. Your vehicle looks stockish, and those are for vehicles with tons of extra weight. I have the OME equivalent (864s) and it's to prevent sag when loaded, but I have a steel bumper a 100# spare, roof rack, drawers etc. I had mediums before and I had too much squat...
