    I'm in the market for a 200 series and ran across this rig. Dealer says it's a Slee rear, but it looks off. Does anyone know who made this bumper and why it is installed the way it is? The bumper goes over the body panel, it's angled and there's quite a gap between bumper and body.

    Its metal, judging by the oil pan gaskt, it may not have been dropped in a long time. Shouldn't this be expected to some degree with 260k miles?

    Just replaced mine with one from CDAN, works great. CDan is the way to go.

    If my crank moved out of TDC, after the chain was removed, how would I get things lined back up if I go back and take the chain off again? Should I just rebuild it? 260K miles....This was in the pan:

    Just replaced it. Ran perfect before change. It was leaking around the cover though.

    Crap...Does this make a difference? On my chain there were 3 shiny links 2 together and one separate. My FSM was different than this one and said nothing about the shiny links. I assumed the single link matched up to the cam sprocket mark and the the double links matched up to the crank marks...
