    Front heater core flushed with CLR now producing 135 degree vent heat.

    I had no heat whatsoever. Flushed with water first and that did not fix it, then i did it again with CLR and finally got blazing heat! I just made sure to thoroughly flush the CLR out with water and I have had no issues whatsoever. ( did a final rinse with distilled water and blew it all out...

    Put on an ARB front bumper and warn winch. Also relocated the winch controls inside the engine.

    Also ended up mouting a top plate to the bracket and welding a brace onto it for added strength. Probably wont win any beauty contests but it works.

    Working on my setup now. I have extended the cables and fabricated this mount from some spare nissan pathfinder bumper brackets. Hope it helps someone. I was able to bolt it to 2 already threaded bolt holes in the body. Will post more pics when i finish. (Fyi this is for a Warn M8000)

    Thanks izzy! I know everyone will laugh but i just completed this last night and have heat for the first time... i know i know winter is over but i dont drive much and its hard to get motivated to hook up the water hose when its 20 degrees outside.:doh: At least im ready for next season!

    Worked on replacing my valve cover gasket and also replaced my old throttle cable. Big improvement!

    I had already replaced the wires, cap , plugs etc. I was just trying to be as economical so i could spend money on necessary and important things like tires and lift :rolleyes:. So far my starter has worked great and i have not had any further issues. I Hope you have the same success.

    Around the beginning of summer, my 97 made the noise you described and was hard to start. It would finally catch and start but it was random. I ended up pulling the starter and buying this Denso starter solenoid repair kit $22 and i havnt had any trouble since DENSO STARTER SOLENOID REPAIR KIT...

    Got my polk speakers installed front and back. Ive been without speakers for a year so its cool to hear something other than road noise lol. Today i threw on a new idler pulley. Next will be wiring up a Scion t1819 radio... should be fun.

    Not sure on the 93 but if it has one, what about the crankshaft position sensor?

    96 LX450 Reliable Daily Driver?

    I drive mine as a daily driver all over the place. Anything car/truck 20 years old may need some maintenance but once done these vehicles are very reliable. I baselined mine and have been enjoying it ever since.

    Oil leak: If its not front main seal or oil pump cover, what to check?

    Look at the crankshaft position sensor - there is a o-ring mod to stop the leak if you search for it. Also check the oilsensor on the drivers side. Mine was leaking and just needed a seal.
