    Sunroof drain hose inner diameter

How about this? https://www.mcmaster.com/products/tubing/id~11-000mm/id~11-000-mm/id~11-0-mm/id~11-mm/ 20' 11mm id, 16mm od, clear. If someone tries it let me know if it works. I'm pretty sure my sunroof drains are compromised as I always hear gurgling sounds from there when it rains.

Trailer brake controller - brake switch wire?

2001 100 series Sanity check me please. Trailer brake controller red wire should be connected to green with white stripe at the tail lamp/brake light switch? This is how I have mine connected, it’s soldiered, I just inspected this connection and all appears well. *plan on checking voltage...

VSC TRAC & VSC OFF lights on, no codes

Please somehow try a new or different battery, yours may seem healthy as mine did, but this is a signal something isn’t -perfect- for the abs/vsc/atrac computer. trust me, it makes no sense to me then or now, that battery I replaced would still crank the engine strongly and would start within...

VSC TRAC & VSC OFF lights on, no codes

I had the same issue come up about a year ago, out of the blue as you've described. It ended up being the battery. I had checked it with my DVM, had 12.5v off and 13.7 running. Took it to auto-zone, had the battery tested and it checked out good. Fortunately my '02 tacoma also uses 22r, so...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

I hadn't noticed any issue prior. Looking back at local almanac info the temp would've been ~40-45F. Snapped this photo of my hand -after- the blood had returned to my fingers. I still have a scar on my middle finger...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Just before HIH8 I was routing coaxial cable along the drivers windshield and through the cowling/hood for CB communications. It was cold and I was focused on the task - I was working at the cowl area and not the firewall. the hood had slowly begun to close itself and my left hand was on the...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Sorry for your troubles! I used a press to install the replacement. Removal of the original was to press out the rubber, then saws all the shell just like you did. With a press, the correct size socket or press sleeve and old one removed it’s a 5 minute job (at the press).

Hitch Questions - Do we have a Class III or IV?

i use a WD hitch with our travel trailer. It’s smaller and probably lighter than what you’re considering (19’ and somewhere to around 3k# dry) my hitch bars are 750# but I’m by no means using their full strength. Trailer pulls like a dream.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

I bought OEM supports, each one came with a new ball-socket bolt. I didn't bother even trying to free the old sockets from bolt, i just removed it using 12mm open end wrench. Re-installing, start at the top, install the ball end bolt and the new socket end easily snaps into place. If you need...

    Wrecked 2006 LX470 Budget Build

My parents had a 912 back in the early 80's and it was that same color. Do you know if it's history places it in the Dallas/Garland Texas area? Great work on this build by the way!

    Rear control arm question.

My neighbor and I are constantly expanding each other’s tool sets. yes, I have a press, but it’s his in my garage. I just bought a nice press sleeve kit, and it’ll get this job done, - all his if he needs it. it’s good to have neighbors with similar hobbies.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Rear hatch lift supports -15min. Had the truck for 4 years now (2001) lift supports always weak during winter (Dallas TX). New ones are great! Almost too strong, my wife might not be able to reach the lid to close it.
