So the topic of seat swaps into 80 series land cruisers came up and I thought I should share these shots of when I fitted Audi TTRS seats into my 105 series.
They didn't stay in the car very long, I should've chosen some seats with slightly softer foam inside them.
Nonetheless ill be fitting...
@mudgudgeon ill have a hunt around for the photos or I’ll just go find them and take some photos.
The perforated leather on parts of the seats perfectly matched the handbrake, but that was about it. Width was pretty good. I had it slightly too close to the centre console and scored it a little...
Here's my efforts of fitting TTRS seats into my LC105. I ended up making individual brackets for each corner, instead of building a frame. This seemed to work well and was very secure.
I didn't keep them in the car for very long because the switches for the electric motors had some corrosion...
I have a set of racks for my car, which i think you're referring to.
Unfortunately, the rack needs to be quite far forward for the roller to clear the upper tailgate when it's open.
