Do new body mounts help ride comfort?

Tires were new, so apples/oranges comparison. Was just hoping P-metric would have been night and day compared to the E-rated KO2s. Yeah, I have my doubts about new body mounts really making a difference.

Do new body mounts help ride comfort?

I won't say not to replace them. Mine were getting worn out after 23 years and I wanted to make sure the joints were transferring as much motion as possible to the shocks/springs. I think it helped, but certainly didn't get me anywhere near factory comfort.

Do new body mounts help ride comfort?

Yes, at or below factory pressures.

Do new body mounts help ride comfort?

Has anyone installed new body mounts and felt improvement in ride comfort? My ride is so harsh, it feels like I'm on the Oregon Trail, seriously. Makes me not want to drive it sometimes. No, you can't have it. :p I've gone from E-rated KO2's back to P-rated Cooper Discoverer AT3s. OEM...

Dobinsons 100 Series Suspension options - full breakdown

Thanks, looks like no anti-sway bar on this one?

Dobinsons 100 Series Suspension options - full breakdown

This is how I originally set it up, I thought it gave the most clearance for the LCA, and the reservoir is as high as it can go due to the hard lines. But you can see on the LSC knob that it looks like it still made contact, and I haven't even gone off road, just the horrible local streets, dips...

Dobinsons 100 Series Suspension options - full breakdown

How are you all mounting the MRA rear driver side reservoir? I'm having a hard time orienting it so that it clears the LCA, anti-sway bar, and the hard lines (fuel or brakes, I forget) mounted to the chassis rails. I thought I had pretty good clearance, but it looks like the lower control arm...

    Builds Benjamin’s 3D Prints Build

@BenCC still active here? Haven't seen him post on this thread since July. I've sent a couple PMs, maybe they ended up in spam... Looking to get a Make 22.

Dobinsons 100 Series Suspension options - full breakdown

Do the IMS and MRA have recommended service intervals? For example, other rebuildable brands recommend service every 30k miles.

in-stock, the last of the Dissent Aluminum REAR bumpers

Fist? What fist? All I see is a craggy mountain range. Somewhere in this forum there is a discussion with @benc on the original design of the logo.

Dissent Front Bumper Install with Come Up 12.5 winch... what am I missing?

Same here, I had to cut a portion of the support bracket as well. I suggest adding a little paint on the edges after cutting to prevent it from rusting.

2002 LC | Transmission Slips in Second

These transmissions are pretty picky on fluid level, make sure the level is correct when transmission temp is hot.

Am I an idiot for selling my 100 for a new defender?

Don't let the MUD door hit ya on your way out. Actually, you probably _deserve_ to get smacked!

Door Lock Actuators - One Year Later

FYI, regular 5min epoxy did not work for me. On 2nd attempt, I scuffed up surfaces and used Plastic Epoxy, formulated specifically for plastics. Been holding so far.

Upper ball joint boot retaining clip

That's one option, although I've never seen Toyota instructions. My method is to push one end of the ring up to the correct groove, and then using your finger or small screwdriver, slide your way along the clip around the ball joint pushing the clip into the groove. I wish I had a video to...

No worries, all good. Just don't want the OP chasing things unnecessarily.

Engine just turns off but will restart immediately

I don't follow how a bad fuel pump could cause an engine to start. If the vehicle is not moving, literally the only way to start it is by engaging the starter. Fuel pump has nothing to do with this. OP also noted that the car has to be in Park or Neutral, look at the wire diagrams, truck must be...

Engine just turns off but will restart immediately

I had very similar issues. With everything off, I could turn the key to ON, and after some period of time, the starter would engage and it would start itself. Other times, while running, it would die. I eventually decided that it was the starter relay, causing the starter to engage. This seemed...

Do you daily your “built” 100?

Not fully built, but certainty modified with front & rear bumpers and sliders. But what other vehicle has a crotch vent for A/C? What else can you ask for in a DD?
