Tires were new, so apples/oranges comparison. Was just hoping P-metric would have been night and day compared to the E-rated KO2s.
Yeah, I have my doubts about new body mounts really making a difference.
I won't say not to replace them. Mine were getting worn out after 23 years and I wanted to make sure the joints were transferring as much motion as possible to the shocks/springs. I think it helped, but certainly didn't get me anywhere near factory comfort.
Has anyone installed new body mounts and felt improvement in ride comfort?
My ride is so harsh, it feels like I'm on the Oregon Trail, seriously. Makes me not want to drive it sometimes. No, you can't have it. :p
I've gone from E-rated KO2's back to P-rated Cooper Discoverer AT3s. OEM...
This is how I originally set it up, I thought it gave the most clearance for the LCA, and the reservoir is as high as it can go due to the hard lines. But you can see on the LSC knob that it looks like it still made contact, and I haven't even gone off road, just the horrible local streets, dips...
How are you all mounting the MRA rear driver side reservoir? I'm having a hard time orienting it so that it clears the LCA, anti-sway bar, and the hard lines (fuel or brakes, I forget) mounted to the chassis rails. I thought I had pretty good clearance, but it looks like the lower control arm...
@BenCC still active here? Haven't seen him post on this thread since July. I've sent a couple PMs, maybe they ended up in spam... Looking to get a Make 22.
Same here, I had to cut a portion of the support bracket as well. I suggest adding a little paint on the edges after cutting to prevent it from rusting.
FYI, regular 5min epoxy did not work for me. On 2nd attempt, I scuffed up surfaces and used Plastic Epoxy, formulated specifically for plastics. Been holding so far.
That's one option, although I've never seen Toyota instructions.
My method is to push one end of the ring up to the correct groove, and then using your finger or small screwdriver, slide your way along the clip around the ball joint pushing the clip into the groove. I wish I had a video to...
I don't follow how a bad fuel pump could cause an engine to start. If the vehicle is not moving, literally the only way to start it is by engaging the starter. Fuel pump has nothing to do with this. OP also noted that the car has to be in Park or Neutral, look at the wire diagrams, truck must be...
I had very similar issues. With everything off, I could turn the key to ON, and after some period of time, the starter would engage and it would start itself. Other times, while running, it would die. I eventually decided that it was the starter relay, causing the starter to engage. This seemed...
Not fully built, but certainty modified with front & rear bumpers and sliders.
But what other vehicle has a crotch vent for A/C? What else can you ask for in a DD?
