irony
Funny, when the problem was first found you were poking fun at everyone and saying it was hysteria. Now you found the problem in your TRD and talk about hysteria. The sky is not falling and you are grossly exaggerating the problem. Toyota is taking care of it so far. Why don't you...
Tires aren't an option without buying new rims as well. In ADDITION to the stock wheels and tires. So you are buying 10 wheels and 10 tires and only get 5. Either you check that box and bend right over, don't check it and get all the wheels and tires for less, or Toyota stops ripping us off...
I'll put in another bid for way more grab handles. Starting with a big one on the passenger side above the glove box in that big wasted expanse of dash.
That's too bad, hope it's not true. 4.88s were my best TJ mod and I'm looking foward to doing the same on my FJ. Also be happy with a 4:1 xfer case conversion such as the Tereflex one.
Thanks for the update
Not trying to push development (boy I'm a liar). Some of us with already smashed front bumpers are eager for another choice. Thing is I'm actually more excited to hear about your skids. More info soon?
Love to see how your lift and lager tires do in the Rock Garden. It was a lot longer and harder after Snowbird put it back together again last year. First time I missed my TJ. I was really used to just driving over the dern things, now back to finessing like the old days.
Lol, I have to get some of that. I only mentioned the TSB because it is so easy to do oneself. Here is a link. Just need a few washers.

Lot's about this problem around internet. This from FJ Cruiser Forums:
The kit Toyota has come up with to fix the rattle noise is PT278-35070-WK.
The repair is covered under your factory warranty and can be done at any Toyota dealer.
Per Technical Service Bulletin AX006-06.

Anyone ever figure out if the pod wiring is under the dash of a non pod equiped FJ. Looking to trade with another member and would sure like to know if there is a friendly harness to plug into after going through the trouble of swapping dashes. Seems logical that the stuff is there. The wiring...
I'd love to talk to you guys about tagging along on a trail run, I'm unobtrusive and no-one'll have to yank, pull or winch me out of trouble. I met a nice bloke yesterday named Richard with a recently purchased tan FJ40 who is a member of your club. Anyhow, this is now officially off topic...
Hi Guys,
I'm from SLC and am now driving a new FJ. I sold a very built Wrangler TJ to start over with the Toyota. I noticed a few of you with Wasatch Cruisers. I've checked out your site but you have no contact info or schedule.
