    This just happened for the first time. I was backing into a parking space on a steepish hill and I felt a loss of power and heard a loud squealing type sound. Any ideas?

    I was up there a few weeks ago at his shop and saw a 60 conversion. It was beautiful. The guy I was speaking too (Ryan?) thought the 2.8 lacked the power for the much heavier 80 series.

    I’ve replaced valve cover gasket, distributor gasket and spark plug gaskets. I’m burning about a quart every 1000-1200 miles. Valves? Is this excessive? I’m not seeing smoke at start up, HG tested ok. Thoughts?

    Is all of this recommended before doing this upgrade? What is the approx cost of all this prep you have done? I am just trying to see what the total cost of this project might be as I weigh this or dropping a V8 in my truck. Everyone is also going to do an oil cooler and intercooler too right?

    I was all set to order a Slee and then saw they had changed and upcharged. Went 4x4 labs, I just couldnt see $1200 more value in the Slee over the Labs.
