As sad as I am to post this, I’ve got to sell my Donkey (brown, loud, stinks, but goes anywhere). Wanted to take him to Costa Rica but they changed their import laws before I could get all the necessary things done. I appreciate all the help I’ve gotten from this forum and hope to return once...

Converting Lincoln 125 to MIG, newer model

Hi all, While I've been doing oxy-acetylene welding for a while, I'm newer to MIG welding. Bought a relatively cheap Lincoln 125 last year from the Home Despot, expecting that I would be able to convert it to true MIG rather than the (what I now realize is messy crap) flux-core. I looked at the...

Hi--I've got a 1969 FJ40 (bought from @RustyNailJustin ) with a 17 gal fuel cell (Summit Racing) installed in the back compartment, but I'm debating switching to an under-mounted tank (possibly custom-built in order to maximize the space--if price is right). The fuel cell is bulky, taking up...

Wanted  hardtop for 1969 fj40 in Odenton, Maryland

I've got a hardtop, but the metal raingutter is in poor condition with rust--since I've never seen one in good condition, (and I'm not quite ready to take it apart) I'm not sure if I need the whole top, or just the metal raingutter and seal (opinions appreciated). Tom

    Hello/Merry Xmas from Noobie

Hello/Merry Xmas to all (and apologies in advance for my noobie errors), I'm about to purchase a 1970 or 1971 FJ40, but have two very different options: 1. 1970: doesn't run, has engine replaced with Chevy 350 (but current one cracked block), 2nd engine in the wings; transmission replaced with...
