    Thanx Dare, after pulling the sump off I also discovered the engine has also been rebuilt recently which is a big bonus.

    I have just had the sump off this 1hz and noticed it has oil sprays under the pistons has anyone ever heard or seen this before as far as im aware the 1hz has never had them only the 1hdt had oil sprays.

    Hi, I'm transplanting a 1hz with h150 gearbox out of a 1996 hzj80r into a bj73 and I'm wondering what is the best solution with wiring up the engine and gearbox. Would it be best to grab a engine and gearbox loom from a hzj79 and the instrument cluster from the hzj79 as well. I have the gearbox...

    I'm pretty sure you'll have to grind some of the support ribs in your bell housing back and I think i seen that on here somewhere. Have a search around the threads.

    Yeah I have pretty much heard the same thing from anyone that's done the conversion I couldn't find anything on stronger engine mounts but I was thinking I was going to use race engine straps and I did find someone online that done odd sizes as custom orders or they had a heap of standard sizes...

    Hi, I am looking to replace the radiator on my BJ73 with 3b motor and can't seem to get right part number or find the right radiator the one I always find has the inlet and outlet on the wrong side they both need to be on the left and no radiator cap either.

    The turbo on the 14bt is a ct26 if your current turbo is ct26 you should be able to use your dump pipe but if it is not there is a guy on eBay au that sells a 90 degree dump for the 80series (80's use a ct26) you should be able to use the down pipe from your existing dump and fabricate one out...
