I am selling my 1981 FJ60-LV. This is a non-US version that has ambulance doors, 3 person front seat and trophy seats in the back. Since I purchased I have had the following work done:
Engine rebuilt
Transmission rebuilt
New clutch
Completely new front brakes
New Mishimo radiator
New water pump...
I bought mine in Colombia in 2019. I had to look at least 30 fj60s before I found mine. They are daily drivers and they can’t always get OEM parts. That said, there are some great deals down there and I was able to get mine shipped in 2021 for a little over 5k.
I wanted to resurrect this thread. I just took my dash off and found the same thing. I have gone thru the wiring schematics and don’t see anything like the connector in the first photo. Anyone else have an idea?

I saw that you previously used to offer a repair kit for the fj60 fusible link that included both sides of the link. I was just checking your store and didn’t see it available. Is that something you could still make?
So i finally figured it out. The mounts are left/right specific and I had them reversed. I figured this out while staring at the parts diagram and noticed the driver side mount had a hole in the middle between the four bolt holes. Switched it around and it fit with no issues. I still have...
I bought a CSF 2708 radiator and noticed a few issues. First the fan shroud bolts don’t match up exactly in the first photos you can see the driver side. The bottom hole is correct but the one above it is two inches too low while the top hole is 2 inches two high. The passenger side fits fine...

I don’t want to hijack this thread but does anyone have a source for the actual knob. I looked at my cruiser yesterday after reading this thread and realized I had an aftermarket knob.
