Need Part # For the Body Grommet

Does anyone know the part # for the body grommet circled in the picture below? It seals the gap between the quarter panel and fuel tank inlet pipe.

    H55F on 3F engine...

GillVic72, Thanks for the post. I parted out an 86' and took everything from the engine block back to include all the clutch parts and pedal. Now all I need is an H55F to fall out of the sky so I can do the swap.

    New Paint, Durabak Smooth

The wind was killing me. There was absolutley no wind the two days before we painted. I was constantly picking crap and flys out of the wet paint. It did set fairly quick though. It depends on how much hardener you mix into the paint prior to spraying. We went with the recommended amount per the...

    New Paint, Durabak Smooth

I want to say we put on 6 -8 coats. It was the first time we ever used Durabak so it was a lot of trial and error. The key is to put it on thin and build it up. You can't treat it like normal paint. If you try to put it on like enamel it will orange peel on you.

    New Paint, Durabak Smooth

Finally decided to throw some paint on the old girl. I ordered some Durabak smooth in green for the body and black for a bumper project I had going on at the same time. I know most of the forum posts that I found on the net didn't have very good reviews but I figured what the hell. So the...

    code 42

the latest. i followed the FSM's check of the VSS and no dice. i could not get any readings at the ECU connector. the next step is to pull the speedometer and check the connection. how long does it take to pull a speedo? i also checked the O2 sensors and nothing. i did not get a reading with my...

    16" rims

stock rims have 3.5" of BS. as long as you have that much you should be good to go. when the number gets higher, the rim gets closer to your calipers and TRE's. i think the most you can go is 3.75" before the rim hits the TRE's. add one inch to the edge of the rim and see if it clears the TRE"s

kynot62, thanks for the gearing info. thats next on my list. as for my findings, MAF sensor, TPS, plugs and wires all check out ok. the exhaust back press is weak coming out the pipe. i was unable to check if the O2 sensors were working ok and i don't have a light for the timing. i'm going to...

rockdoc, thanks for the post. i did a lot of reading and do believe i might have a VSS problem. that is probably only part of the issue. my truck does run rich, so i might have bad O2 sensors and i believe that both of my cats have a partial blockage. i'll dig into this weekend and report my...
