I have a blue 84 FJ60, vortec 350 swap, 4l60e transmission, SOA, ARB lockers front and rear, viair compressor and 2 gallon tank. 35" tires. Less than 100 miles on the motor and drivetrain since I finished it up. I just kinda ran out of interest. I have been meaning to get it out of the garage...
Does anyone know the thread size on the bolt that acts as a pivot for the linkage?
I need to drill and tap a piece of steel for a custom mount and don't know what size tap to get.

That happened to me about a month ago. I couldn't figure it out and one day it went away. Lasted a week or two.

I installed the newer Downey kit that did include the TBI. The install wasn't all that difficult. I was never able to get it to run quite right though. There are plenty of other people who have done it on the board though. The throttle response was great, but there wasn't much of a power...

I have a carb and I think all the bracketry back to the pedal but it is not rebuilt. It was working when I removed it. Let me know if you are intrested.
